Opened CbB on my "offline" pc this morning. I was greeted with a screen about the new Sonar and a link to learn more about it. At least I'm seeing some movement .. I guess it will be popping up from now on . ?? ms

I Really enjoyed this one. As Bruce said the kick and bass are working Very well. I also liked the wobbly synth part. I think there are a few things to clean up on the vocals , but a Very nice mix. Enjoyed it .. mark

Well , this is "one" of my genres , and I think it is a killer song and a Seriously good mix. I enjoyed the journey and appreciate all the work and rework done to get it to completion. Ditto .. mark

Sounds like a classic Glenn. Great energy thru the entire song ! I Loved the fuzzy lead guitar, and the backing choir vocals They came in inthe perfect spot and weren't overused. Very impressive production. Loved it .. mark

It would be Real nice if someone placed an Activation , re-Activation "sticky" at the top of this page . Not that everyone would read it , but it's getting old seeing the same question every couple of days. ms

Christopher , Spitfire Labs has a free Uilleann Pipes instrument. (Irish Bagpipes). It has FX and controls for the drones . They sounds pretty decent if you don't pay attention to the main audio sample they use. Watch seperate videos about it. I have real bagpipes hanging on the wall. They're a nightmare to play.. mark

Sjoens , so .. yours is going to half it's length and mine is going to twice it's length. Seems it should be pretty straight forward detecting only 4 beats in a measure. Weve both got something set wrong. I haven't tried doing it again since starting this thread , but I'm sure the time is coming soon. Get back to me if you figure out why the detection isn't working properly. mark

Hi Charles , I normally split the tracks up. I'll split up verses , chorus , bridge and sometimes just parts of them. It's especially handy if you are going to do any copying and pasting . (like on a bass part). Then you only have to do it once. I've also found that I start getting sloppy in a long melodyne session. I normally do it as I go to keep the final editing from getting so long and tedious. ms

Make sure you have internet access. Open Cakewalk and click "help" at the top of the screen. Log into Bandlab and close. I moved my DAW pc to my house last night to reactivate. (no internet where my studio is) Opened Cakewalk and immediately got a splash screen to log into Bandlab. Looked around a little in Bandlab then closed it. Thats all it takes to reactivate CbB. ms (there are 3 other threads on This Page about activating CbB)

Sounding Good Gary. I am hearing some excessive highs , especially on the vocals. Seemed to be present also early in the mix with the "sticks". I hear what you think is a timing problem as well. I think it could be helped some with the highs reduced. It seems to be in a 'S' section. There is also a pop thats coming in near the end of the guitar solo. It would be nice if Bandlab had a readable timeline as the song played. It sure would be easier to pinpoint exact times in a song for reference. Enjoying the journey .. mark

Nio , I like the energy and the timing changes in this. Guitar playing was Nice as well. If you could widen the mix a little without causing problems , I think it would improve the mix a little. Enjoyed it .. mark
