Thanks a lot Lynn! My right ear has conductive hearing loss. I should set the levels in mono first. I'll check that, thanks again!

I'm Losing You - John Lennon Cover (A Unique Rock Arrangement)

I am not that good at mixing but the rule of thumb is, I guess, to put low frequency instruments in center. Higher frequency instruments can be panned. Low cut on almost anything except bass and kickdrum. I use Izotope as well but can't let it control everything, it ends up in a harsh result Their loudness control, maximizer is great. It would be fun to try mixing your stuff if you like but I am sure there are people here who are a lot more competent. -
Thanks Wookiee, appreciated. It's a synth from Cakewalk Sonar, Dimension Pro.

Yeah, that's a good one! Musically top notch. Mixwise, I'd like your voice 4-5 dB louder (as in Walrus) otherwise I think you did a great job with this one. I like when covers have some personal originality to them, more like an interpretation, which is the case here and the other Lennon songs I have heard from you. -
Cool and very well played, mixed and produced. Impressive!

Nice, almost hypnotic due to repetition. I am always impressed by how you guys pick the correct sound. Must be as many sounds as there are stars.

Put together after a serious diagnosis and I realized I had an angel by my side.

Spot on Paul! Thanks! Too many words. Perhaps I should slow the song down a bit and do the vocals again but it's hell of a work.

Thank you so much for your comments Bjorn!

Thank you for sharing the history of your musical life. I am sorry to hear that your injury prevents further playing. Drumming as well? The drums are excellent on both Beatles covers. I am impressed by your result of I am the walrus, one of the most complicated Beatles songs of all time, harmonically speaking. It's definitely one of my favorite Lennon song along with Strawberry fields. It's also a great challenge to do Beatles covers since the original i so darn good. I think you did a great job on Walrus as well. I wish though your vocal would be more up front. I like Beatles trivia as well. You mentioned George Harrison. Frank Sinatra once sang Something live and introduced it as one the best Lennon & McCartney love song in fifty years. And by the way the number one hit rate Beatles song on Spotify is not by Lennon & McCartney. It's George's Here comes the sun.

Great cover of this Lennon gem. Congrats! Btw, l remember in one interview J L said "I offered the Beatles this one but they didn't want it."

Many thanks for encouraging comments! Most appreciated. ?

I grew up with this type of music. Nice! Great vocal and arrangement. Just a tad flat in the chorus on the first "we" in my ears. Great guitar solo. ??

Sounds very authentic. Is the vocalist also from the NI Middle East library? I don't know that much about this type of music but I liked it.

Love it for its originality and catchy riffs. Great lyrics as well. Keep up the good work!

Nice melodies which certainly could be performed vocally as well. ?
