Interesting, odd harmonies. I liked it but it would be nice with a vocal melody as well. Mix, arrangement, etc sound perfectly well. The video fits well with the audio as has a very AI/fantasy look.

Right, AI is made by humans for humans and hopefully we may see it as a powerful tool, to get inspired of. I must say e g, I wouldn't come up with that balaika hook(?) if not triggered by the Suno-version. I did some serious attempts to clean the vocal file further but not lucky. Today I will try Ultimate vocal removal (UVR) as a last attempt to get rid of artefacts. It's interesting to see how what difference it makes to have the written lyrics in front of one's eyes. What she sings become almost crystal clear if you go along with what's written. Without it ,it sounds like a completely foreign language.π It reminds me of how much information severely hearing impaired people get from lip reading. Thanks for listening an comments!

Thanks David for taking your time for a second look. I sort of get tunnel vision at home. That's why these forums came about, right? Glad you found an improvement!

Thanks a lot Bjorn! I wish Suno didn't change that much of the original concept of the song I uploaded. But we haven't seen the last versions of those algorithms, have we? Would be nice to hear your experience moreover.

I think it sounds great now. I try to think of something similar. Don and Dave Grusin? No. I think you've got something unique here. It's like a chaotic but yet a very structured jam. How this can be? I don't know.π€ You've got the answer. Very impressive! π

Thanks David for important feedback. As said, sound quality of the stems lag behind. I had to do some cleaning and eq:ing before accepting the results. The width is on me and I diminished it a bit. You're right, there is a mess around 1:13. I have a lousy ear for rhythm and beat. Hopefully, a bit tidier now?

I had to test it . I have used AI in photography before. An instrumental song (Little Creek) with newly written lyrics was used as a template. Fast as hell, Suno.com delivered a number of suggestions where the song had been redone and different singers and some vocal harmonies were added. I chose the one I thought was best and imported the stems. I don't think the sound quality was particularly good and the vocal track lost some nice choirs along the way. I tried to clean up the vocal track but the pronunciation is sometimes really strange. The word "play" sounds like the French word "entrΓ©". "Neither" is sometimes pronounced "neether" and sometimes "nyther" (as in "eye"). Anyway, I am amazed and impressed! I can't hear that instruments have been added. However, Suno removed my piano. Added one of those, brushes, balalaika and organ. Is this the death for songwriters? I would like to be able to just "bring home" a vocalist without changing a lot of the rest of the song. Maybe that's possible. I haven't explored all the possibilities.

Sound quality and musicianship is amazing. Everything is more than perfect except for the piano. Plze turn it up!

Thanks daryl for your words! ππ

One of my favourites by P S. The guitars sound a bit digital. The quena flutes sounds wonderful. Well done!

Thanks KSband! Yes, there is a bass, sort of responding the guitar.

Thank you very much! Appreciated!

Hsmusic, thanks for your explicit reply. I do appreciate your thoughts on the different parts on the mix, the different instruments and how to do deal with those issues. I think you are right, I need to drop this one for a while to get some healthy distance and come back with fresh(er) ears.

Thanks for listening and commenting again! I had never tried using a reference track but the idea is tempting. I think the problem with the bass is that it's intertwined with the left hand of the piano. I don't want to cut out the lower part of the piano since it feels natural to keep them as it is and I think add some drive at the beginnings of some bars. The bass is Trilian Fender (vst) best heard in the intro. I'll see what I can do. Perhaps yet leave the piano bass part totally to Trilian..?

Yes, already slowed it down and now a little more. Glad you liked the melodies. Thanks Bjorn for listening and comments.

Many good thoughts there. Thanks! Right, it's a bit "digital" now and should have a more acoustic, analog feel. Nice take home messages. Thanks again!

BPM 90 --> 87. Bass up 4 dB. Sorry for a rushed and lousy reply. I'll be back for a better one.

Feels like I have changed this one a hundred times. Some day I'll get there. π After a while the themes seem nagging. Any suggestion is wellcome.

Love that wall of sound. No nits from my part. Awesome production, notably sound quality and string arrangement.

Time flies when you're in a flow right? I don't think I have been up that many hours but easily 24 hrs. I notice after a while that I can't hold focus and that I forget the changes I intended to make. This is during the second the handicraft part. In the first creative part, I find lack of sleep could be advantageous, seems like there are no filters that hold creativity back. I like the mood in your song very much. Instrumentation, playing and singing are flawless. Takes me back to seventies but still sounds modern. Wish it lasted longer.
