Very cool, jazzy tune; I like it. Nice key modulation about half way through too. The mix is good. I might suggest bringing the cymbals up a little. Also, I can occasionally hear some subtle compression pumping artefacts. There are no rules about mixing, but as this is a jazzy tune possibly try easing up a little on the compression ratio and letting the mix breathe a bit more naturally.

They're different beasts. Scalar is a music theory tool that's useful for beginners and the more experienced too, which lets you experiment with different chords with chord substitution suggestions; Riff Generation is more of a 'press for magic' generator with some very nice built in sounds. Disclaimer: these are simplistic descriptions to show the difference between the two programs; both can be very effective tools

Loving the shuffle-rock groove, and the 'passive break' (not really sure what to call it when the instruments thin out a bit and slow down) in the middle! Really good mix too.

My thinking: Whispers... a vocal library? A Halloween/Black Friday sale? ? A new product... A vocal library, or are the whispers to throw off the guesses?

Love the song Paul - it's got a good classic rock feel to it, and kinda reminds me of John Mellencamp in places.

Nice piece Bjorn. I like how there are quite a few chromatic themes and pitch bends in there, but how the whole piece still gels together cohesively.

Nice! I like the bells that accent the guitar during the opening verse (gives it a sparkly feel), and the overall diversity of instrumentation as the piece goes on.

Great song and mix! The verses and choruses work well, and the synthy instrumental bridge/ending offer a good sonic contrast that is different but fits.

Love the diversity in this - lots of parts that seem like they're doing their own thing, but work really well together as a whole.

Very nice! I like how you keep introducing new elements throughout to keep things interesting, and also how you're occasionally using chromatic chords to give a more ethereal sound. In Cosmic Dust, something to try might be adding some delay to the occasional ear-candy parts to give an even more open/spacious sound. Nothing wrong with how it is now though.
