  1. I like the style of your tunes - there's a bit of a lounge-jazzy type of vibe to this one. I thought the mix sounded quite good to my ears - plenty of separation for the instruments. I really liked the bass in the intro as well. Your piano playing is always excellent - nicely done.
  2. I liked Nigel's description of this as being a cool freestyle tune - lots going on in the mix and it works. Addictive Drums has been my go-to drum vst for a long time, and I'm still perfectly happy with it. Well done - good song.
  3. I really enjoyed this one - very pleasant and relaxing - nicely done. Excellent mix - sounded quite good through my headphones.

I've listened to quite a bit of your stuff, and you have posted a variety of different styles and genres - this was a pleasant listen - nicely done. I liked the Syria voices. The mix sounded quite good to me.
  5. Cool track - I agree with what was mentioned above regarding the drum track - a bit of verb - especially on the snare, would make it blend in a bit better in the mix - just my two cents. I agree with Bjorn as well - a bit more verb on the flute.
  6. Hi Everybody, Here's another one from the album I'm currently working on called "The Westerly Sessions Volume VIII". As always, any comments and critiques are welcome, and thanks for listening. Here it is: https://www.soundclick.com/music/songInfo.cfm?songID=14269925
  7. I thought you did a good job with the lead synth - it was a melody that worked well with the foundation and structure of the song - nicely done.
  8. I really liked those BGVS that you performed in this one - made me think a bit of the Beach Boys. I thought it was a cool song - nicely done. My only crit - I would add some verb to the lead guitar part - I think it would blend in better for the mix.
  9. I like what you did with this song as well - your songs, whether original or covers - are always a fun listen - nicely done.
  10. I thought you did a fine job on this classic - as some mentioned above - your vocal performance is top-notch. Well done. Excellent mix - no crits. Regarding Bill Withers - I've listened to a couple of his albums from the the 70s - all his stuff was good.
  11. Nicely done Jack - I enjoyed the listen - the sax playing was well done.
  12. I'm glad you liked it Nigel - thanks.
  13. Thanks for listening Steve - I appreciate your ears.
  14. I really enjoyed your lyrics on this one Bjorn - that was quite funny - nicely done. You kind of make me think of Leonard Cohen - you have his poetic talent.
  15. Another good track off your album Nigel - the video was cool as well. I really liked the vocal regarding the mix - it was just where it should be in the mix - nicely done.
  16. Thanks for listening Makke - I appreciate it.
  17. David - I could use a couple of go-go girls for a video of the song? I'm going to do another remix to turn down that crash a bit - thanks for letting me know.
  18. That was cool - it sort of put me into a trance-like state - nicely done.
  19. Very cool David - the music went along with the video quite nicely. My only wish is for the music to have been a bit longer - a minor crit.
  20. Nice job Wookiee - this is a fine addition to your Warp series - there was quite a bit going on in the mix through my headphones - a pleasant listen. It's always fun to listen to your use of synths in your compositions.
  21. Bjorn - I'm planning on ten volumes of the Westerly Sessions - each volume is 20 songs. Not sure when I will finish, but hopefully I'll get it done by the end of this year. It's been a wild ride working on it - gives me plenty of opportunity to improve my mixing skills. Thanks for listening.
  22. Hi Tom - thanks for listening and for your comments. I think I agree with you about the snare and acoustic guitar - so I'll do another remix with your suggestions in mind. I did have some eq cuts on both, but perhaps not enough. I'll see what I can do - thanks.
  23. Hi Bjorn - I really liked the tone of the Ilya Efimov Elec Guitar thru TH-U - it me think a bit of Pink Floyd. Also, the Heavyocity Vocalise was very cool. Your compositions are always interesting to listen to, and this is no exception. The mix sounded good through my headphones - nicely done.

  25. That's a cool song Allan - it's a laid back vibe and groove. I especially liked your vocal harmonies on this one. I also liked your lyrics, especially "If you've got nothing to hide - you've got nothing to fear". I listened through my Sony 7506 headphones, and I thought the mix was excellent - all the instruments were crystal clear - nicely done.
