Thank you! But I do not understand points 1 and 3.
And I'm talking about Cakewalk by Bandlab.

Hi all!
Please...
How to make Midi and Audio clip start to sound later by 50 ms, without moving them along the line of time?
Thanks in advance! -
With the previous update (2024.07.108) on Win11, my configured Control Panel flew to the default. I did not write about it here, I just configured the panel again. Locked it again.
And with this update, the Control Panel flew back to the default!
Again!
Confusion!
ps This does not happen in Win7.

Suddenly it was discovered that Cakewalk by BandLab does not display a virtual CD(DVD, BD)-ROM in its media browser if *.iso is loaded into it, but it does display it if the virtual CD(DVD, BD)-RO is empty.
Elaborate Bytes Virtual CloneDrive
DAEMON Tools Ultra
Tested on Win7 and Win11.

Full installer is 500mb
Yes! :)
15 hours ago, kitekrazy said:I can't find it. Maybe a link would help.
https://www.bandlab.com/products/cakewalk
The full installer is downloaded to your computer if Cakewalk by BandLab is not installed on it.

All versions of Cakewalk and Sonar since the beginning of time are completely different core programs that install separately from any other versions you have installed.
Their shared folders are the same:
Cakewalk Shared\
Shared Plugins\
Shared Utilities\
Shared DXi\
Shared MIDI Plugins\
Shared Surfaces\-

Can anyone confirm this update still works on Windows 7 64bit?
Yes...

MIDI track Dance)))
Existing project:
1. Added a new midi track.
2. Dragg&drop (copied) a midi clip into it.
3. Added audio track.
4. Loaded a synth into it.
5. I connected a midi track...
Everything sounds. But here's what happens with the graphics:

After the project was reloaded, the dance stopped.))
No mouse sticking.

I try many things, listen many advices but nothing is working (check windows firewall, no other application running, try new login, desinstall/reinstall cakewalk, change default browser, update windows, unpdate browser....)
Is there a Default browser? Until I had the default browser setting, I couldn’t activate Cake like you.

Would it be possible for the program to issue this alert when it identifies this problem when trying to create each automation?
Does the plugin have a MIDI Implementations Chart?

Interesting settings. Do you have a particular reason for that? (32 bit float) I mean, I understand the increased depth and articulation expected with larger word size at equivalent speeds, but isn’t everything a tradeoff?
Once upon a time I started working in this format simply based on the logic (perhaps a little erroneous) that 32 bits is better than 24.
Since then I have not changed the bitness, simply so that old projects could be loaded as before and without resetting the parameters of Cake.

Was there a windows 10 update this past week?
No.
QuoteIs there a listing anywhere that compares relative latency of the various interfaces on the market. It seems that none specify any realistic info about such in their specs... or at least I've not spotted such. Interesting piece my heart is drifting towards (not that I can in any way afford it) is the new Arturia AudioFuse 16. But again no mention of latency specs. If it's a matter of USB bus speed, I'm stuck on a Mac trashcan with usb3.0/1 (I'm still uncertain seeing both quoted in machine specs and not finding such locally).
I once had an M-Audio Fast Track Ultra, I had to work on 512-1024, and even then with difficulty. With the purchase of RME Fireface UCX, the same projects run at 128-256.
All projects - 44.1kHz, 32 bit float. I work with Vienna Ensemble Pro on two computers, with up to 5-6 instances in each project.

After crashing twice in a row attempting to freeze a track, opening CbB took near 30 seconds as opposed to the usual 3-5 or even long taking 10....
I can’t repeat this, Cake doesn’t crash and the project opens just as quickly.

I'm wondering why I can't find an answer to my question about the error when I load a project from the playlist and the loop that I made between several measures before saving the project is disable.
For me, this setting is saved when I save the project.

Confirmed this is a regression - it's been fixed for the next update.
I want to ask you. Is it possible to fix it so that plugin windows that were minimized when saving remain minimized when the project is reloaded?

Close your browser first and then click sign in in the help menu. If that doesn't launch a browser window then something on your system is blocking that (likely an AV setting) and you will have to resolve this issue first.
This may happen if the system does not have a default web browser, i.e. if no web browser is selected as the default.
This happened to me. After setting up the web browser, activation was successful.

Well, I believe the registration issue is totally related.
This is related to this update.
I do have a registration issue.
I click on Help -> Sign in to Bandlab and nothing happens.
After a little while I get the blue notification (bottom right corner) that Sign-in Timed Out.I never had any registration problem before so I'm at lost here.
I have the same problem! And it started back with EA 29.09.0.055(( When I try to activate through the Help menu, this window appears and nothing else happens.

I'll check the СOMODO settings!
UPD There are no prohibitions in Сomodo.

UPD2 Everything is OK - activated!

I was only referring to the slowness of Ozone's tooltips. It's the same in Platinum so it appears to be a "feature" of the plugin and is not new to this release in any case.
I'll take note. But I don't work with Ozone.

Its the same DAW. CbB just being the more improved version.
Cake's projects are performing very poorly in Platinum. So yes - these are slightly different programs.

it's the same in Platinum 17.10 which is my quick reference for performance and behavior of long-standing functionality.
Cake and Platinum are very different in features and performance. I doubt that comparing them can give a real picture.

One interesting thing of note; The custom preset I had saved in the original, and now missing instance of bx_cleansweep V2 is gone. But Cakewalk does still reference it within the drop down menu for the place holder.
This happens to me often with different plugins and in earlier versions of Cake.

I confirm - that everything is exactly the same for me, and this has been happening for at least 3-4 years, and maybe more, I just didn’t pay attention to it before. I think that this is a minor bug that simply no one pays much attention to and does not point it out to the developers.
I don't confirm. This has never happened and does not happen now. I use the cakewalk Tungsten theme too.
Shift event in time... How?

Mark McLeod, OK! Thanks!
Pre and Post options do the same thing - is that how it should be?
