An Artist - video

An Artist

I made this video for my wife's aunt Betty on the occasion of Betty's 90th birthday.
Betty is an accomplished artist so I put together a few of her paintings
and used a poem she had written years ago for the lyrics. I had intended this to be a sing-along
kind of a thing at her birthday party so the lyrics are superimposed on the video.

Thanks for any watching/listening.

Thanks David.  Yeah, the guitars are all VSTs, mostly played into Cakewalk via keyboard and many edits in PRV.

Hi, Bjorn,

Fantastic job on this very pleasant and uplifting video!👍

Your wife's aunt is a very talented artist, and the beautiful instrumental soundtrack that you composed fits perfectly to showcase her gorgeous artwork.😀

I'm sure Aunt Betty really appreciated the video and had a wonderful birthday!😀

Great work, as always, Bjorn!

Have a great weekend!

That was awesome bjorn and a lovely gift to the aunt !

Clean, bright and crisp guitars from you to go with her beautiful paintings. Very nice indeed !

I enjoyed looking at her paintings - very nice😊 Your audio track went along with the video track nicely.

Cheers to Aunt Betty - a pleasant array of paintings.

Quite a lovely tribute to your auntie Betty. She is indeed very talented. Thought I saw one pastel in there, the skyscape maybe?
Kudos on ya and a big thumbs up!

Very nice Bjørn.
Would to love hear it by a guitar player..  I reckon they add some real feeling to it.  (not that it isnt there in the VSTs)  I mean a human effect.

Aunt Betty liked the song a lot and that made the whole project worthwhile.

Thank you. Appreciate the listen and comment

Thanks. Aunt Betty doesn't paint anymore because of her health, but in her time she was one of the best.

Tom
Thanks. Appreciate the comment.

The only kind of feeling I can express in my guitar playing is the happiness I feel when hitting the right note.

I love her paintings and her poetry.  It's so sad that she can no longer create because she added such beauty to the world.  Your music is perfect and well produced.  If you hadn't mentioned it was VSTIs I never would've known.

Nicely done,  Bjorn.  Great tribute.

My daughter is in her sophemore year of art school in Hartford, CT, so I can certainly appreciate Aunt Betty's talent!

Your aunt is quite an accomplished artist and poet.  You have also created quite a composition yourself.  What a lovely video and sentiment!  You are really becoming quite accomplished at marrying video and music.  Well done!!!

Fabulous art work and the soundtrack wasn't too shabby either. You did a lovely job on this and very skilled use of VSTs, as a guitarist I could tell - but only just.

Would love to hear that played on a decent 12 string with a few well-placed strings added in.
