Terry Carroll Posted October 11, 2023 Share Posted October 11, 2023 (edited) I had a friend ask me to write a tune and music to his lyric about two months ago. since I never did that kind of thing before, I wasn't too big on the idea at first. I played around with it til something clicked for me. I didn't change the lyric in the first verse much at all. there was a lot of changes in the rest of the lyrics that I had to make. It was an interesting experience. While I was writing the tune to the lyric, it seemed like I was feeling Neil Diemond ("Solitary Man"}, Meat Loaf (Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad), as well George Harrison at one point.
