Clever lyrics (which I like a lot) and a great groove. I was reminded ever so slightly of Ian Drury & The Blockheads (meant as a compliment).

Great stuff

"Mr Amsterdam wants to make the whole world mellow. "

I've been there a couple times. Loved it.  I think you captured the ambience well.

I agree with jack, sounds like a Steely Dan song, also could use a bit more bass.

Loved the whole approach to this mix, so pared down and funky. Vocal treatments were such a treat, and the lyrics are left field wonderful. I'd agree, a bit more of the bass guitar. There's plenty of room.

Everything in this is zippy, idiosyncratic, and groovy. Loved it.

cheers,

-Tom

Very cool funky-jazzy sounds with some "clever" lyrics.  Great performance, mix, vox, etc.

Great work!

freddy j; thank you so much for taking the time. Glad you enjoyed!

Tom, Jack, KSband. Thank you for your input. I took a listen and yes you are right. The bass is back a bit, especially for a sort of Reggae style tune. I will re-adjust.
