RIP Graham Edge

Recommended Posts

We saw the Moody Blues about 8 years ago right here in town. Graeme's granddaughter was in the audience and he dedicated a song to her.

Sadly, Graeme was not a very lively player by that time. The band had a hired 'electronic kit' drummer playing the the heck out of the songs while Graeme lightly tapped out the songs on his un-mic'd acoustic kit.

Justin and John were on fire that night.

We were in the 2nd row.

Lots of quality classic music (songs and albums) from the Moody Blues.  Lots of fond musical memories.  Justin Hayward's brief statement about Edge's passing can be found here

Sad news indeed,

Days Of Future Passed is still one of my favourite albums. Decades ahead of its time.

Same here. Big fan of the first seven albums. Some of the later ones were also quite good.
