bjornpdx 1,005 Posted March 31, 2021 Just a pretty melody I wrote a long time ago but re-done now with updated instruments. Inspired by Walt Whitman's poem Gliding O'er All Do not drive or operate heavy machinery while listening. At one time the melody fit the words. Thanks for listening or commenting. --------------------------------------------- Gliding o'er all, through all Thru Nature Time and Space As a ship on the waters advancing The voyage of the soul - not life alone Death, many deaths I'll sing ------------------------------------- OTS Steel Strings AmpleSound Martin guitar Embertone Joshua Bell violin u-He Diva

Hidden Symmetry 1,441 Posted March 31, 2021 Enjoyed it Bjorn, a nice way to start my day off. Tasteful use of the VI's ; they're not over done/ over played & fit the piece nicely.

David Sprouse 795 Posted April 1, 2021 (edited) good job on the recording. Glad to know melody is not dead. I genuinely felt I was in a glider. Edited April 3, 2021 by David Sprouse
Johnbee58 311 Posted April 2, 2021 Lovely! I put my headphones on, laid back and closed my eyes and it took me to a very nice place for a few moments. Reminds me of some old Windham Hill music, which I love. 🙂 John B
PhonoBrainer 1,816 Posted April 4, 2021 You walk into a museum somewhere in Big Sky country, and this is background for an entire exhibit as you walk around. Let me know when you get that set up, I'll come check it out! Or maybe the Monterey Bay Aquarium? super peaceful piece! cheers, -Tom

bjornpdx 1,005 Posted April 5, 2021 Thanks all for listening. Appreciate it. Kurt - Yeah, I love the Embertone Joshua Bell violin. Really easy to make it sound near authentic. David - I really hope melody makes a come back. Seems to be missing lately.
noynekker 374 Posted April 6, 2021 Enjoyed listening to this very much Bjorn . . . some great clear tones from those guitar vsti's, then there's those flutes and fiddles . . . acoustic music can be so relaxing, and I like the ambience around the instruments the way you've mixed it, just the right touch . . . it's very well done, as I knew it would be.
