Old Cakewalk Soundstage reverb plugin (Audio FX 3)

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I would like to get a copy of the old Cakewalk Soundstage reverb plugin. It was available for free some years ago but all the download links seems to be dead by now. Is there any way to acquire this plugin? I would be eternally grateful to anyone who could help me with this.

Thanks.

The company stopped that promotion years before they went out of business.

It was a 32bit DX plug-in so does not load into 64bit DAWs.

A copy of the plug-in will do you no good without a serial number.

Oh, I see. Thanks for the answer. It's a shame. I'd really love to  have some nice reverb where I could build my own rooms. It seems that all the plugins of this kind that I found are either discontinued, Linux only or too overpriced.

It´s a pity CW stopped development of Soundstage, i.e. not making a 64-bit version, because it was a brilliant plugin IMO.

There are great sounding newer reverbs out there but ifaik none let´s you place the instruments/players in the room like Soundstage did.

Maybe something like this as an alternative (for free)?

Yeah Panagement is great but it lacks some more advanced features (for example being able to place the sound source behind a wall).

This plugin looks great but sadly it's discontinued.

This one looks quite interesting but is not supported on Windows.
