DEADMAU5's STUDIO

Recommended Posts

As a subscriber to Linus' Tech Tips, I saw this several months ago and was dutifully impressed!

As for whether he made comments about anything, well, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and everyone else is entitled to either agree or disagree with them.  Censorship in any direction is simply wrong.

did not know that

I literally only found out minutes before I posted that.

Apparently it isn't the first time he's been in "trouble."

He has apologised.

I've known of his studio for a couple of years, since getting into Eurorack. He has one hell of  a system.

I'm not a fan of his music but I did consider for a time subscribing to his "masterclass" thing. I actually like the bloke.

Really?

Surely most of us "self censor" all the time. Kinda helps keep the peace, don't ya think?

Gay teen suicides are at an all time high.  While I don't agree with censorship, there is definitely a responsibility for us to police ourselves when it comes to these things.  The sad thing is that homophobes end up being gay in the end...it's a type of self loathing.  Sad.

I took it pretty much as just checking out a guys studio and his obvious over the top life style.

My watching a publicly available video is not an endorsement of the person or his values.

Just like reading a news paper is not an endorsement of its contents.

people are responsible for their own actions and any subsequent consequences.

Back to topic people who excel  are often geeky.     EVH rock the world with a homemade guitar.  Ever see a photo of Hans Zimmer's studio?

I thought about taking his class but $100 is kinda steep. I'd be more interested in Armin Van Buuren's class.
