You're right. A few are DX fx which show up in Cakewalk still.

One cool note to factor in if you're on the fence about this Vegas deal DaVinci Resolve, is that the FX and Audio plugins that come with Vegas will work in DaVinci.

Not a deal BUT many of these types of plugins ARE on sale right now. So this might be helpful while shopping.

Plus in the Soothe2 alternative thread, there seemed to be some confusion over which plugins did what. This might help clear some things up.

The  newest version is a Reaktor instrument  Use Reaktor to open it or the free Reaktor Player.

I remember version one being the top recommended organ back on the old forum. Cool to see it's finally getting an upgrade.

This comes around once a year. Very high quality. If you hadn't grabbed it in the past, I highly recommend it.

I've noticed in the past that Msoundfactory has a guitar category yet has zero guitars. Hopefully this is an attempt to remedy that with the help of users....?

They're inside MPC Beats. The vst versions are separate. They're currently on sale right now though.

For some reason these sounds remind me of Prince's Revolution era drum sounds. (with a touch of Kraftwerk thrown in)

SFZ+ was free from Cakewalk for a bit then disappeared from the site. (luckily I still have a copy)

I remember this coming out and thinking "this looks like a decent alternative to Serum" ...then shortly after Vital and Phaseplant came out and stole what little thunder it had going.

Heads up. Requires AVX compatible processor for those on older pc's.  This was a problem with Massive X for a few people.
