It's still decent Tom, but I rarely use it because I have so many others...

Yes, a lot of us can say this about many plugs now....and you're partially too blame. Thanks CCLarry. lol! 😉

Transfuser is pretty cool though. Fun fact, it can be used as an FX  plugin as well as an insrtrument.

Not very happy. Six months of waiting only to find I can't have it (as part of Komplete 12) as my processor isn't AVX compatible (something i'd never heard of until today). No way around it. Not happy at all. Could be the last Native Instruments purchase form me.

Ran into the same problem.  Running a dual cpu 12core Xeon system. Older machine but still has some kick, was an upgrade from my core 2 quad system (ran like a champ). Not looking to buy a new machine anytime soon. Not just for a single synth especially.

  3. IK Multimedia offers Syntronik Bully FREE to newsletter subscribers

    May 13, 2019

IK Multimedia has announced that its newsletter subscribers can get the Syntronik Bully instrument for free for a limited time.

Syntronik Bully comes with 100 instruments, comprising 1+ GB of content and over 1,000 samples.

Syntronik’s Bully recreates the thunderous bass sounds of the Moog Taurus series. This organ pedal-style synthesizer is a much-treasured chapter in synthesizer history.

The first version of the Taurus became an instant classic in the mid-70s with its distinctive oscillator detuning and unique-sounding sawtooth waveforms. The Taurus II, was based on the Moog Rogue and was never as popular despite much added functionality.

IK newsletter subscribers or those who join the newsletter can get the Syntronik Bully instrument for free through May 23rd, 2019 (49.99 EUR/USD value).

The instrument will be unlocked inside of Syntronik after logging into the Custom Shop and clicking ‘Restore my Sounds’ to activate it. Existing newsletter subscribers must enter their User Area, where a pop-up window will show a red REDEEM button.

Someone had a similar particle type UI for selecting similar sounding samples, where the sample you were using was was surrounded by dots representing similar sounding samples...
    Trying to recall who...

Edit: TerraSin's post popped up as I was saving this post.  Seems like he's experiencing the same Deja Vu that I am...

I usually love Rigid Audio stuff, but I found Aquiver to be a bit disappointing.    I only got it last night, but as I played through the various patches I found most of them rather annoying.  (Their demo seemed to sound much better!)   I'll give it another go this weekend - maybe I'll hear it differently.   Of course, for less than $5 I can't really complain...

I actually like the sound.  It's very good for Film, TV and video game  production (especially tense thrillers or horror) or dark and moody music production.  Not that useful for mainstream / top 40  music production.  Through many of the newer sounds recently added help to fill in that gap quite a bit.

The Quad Comp is a multiband compressor that incorporates up to four optical compressors.  Each one uses filters to create separate, user-definable frequency bands.  This is a powerful tool to achieve full control of your frequency spectrum.  Use the Quad Comp in a wide range of situations: by combining gain reduction with frequency control, it can act like a “dynamic EQ” as the gain reduction applied on each band depends on whether the level for that frequency exceeds the set threshold.

  7. To gain memberships to the Bandlab platform. To lure in more serious musicians and to retain the ones who out grow the limitations of the online and mobile apps. A huge Bandlab user base is the short goal. That in itself has value.  Bandlab is a combination online DAW like Soundation, user content streaming service like Soundcloud and social media platform like twitter.  For this to work you need users and lots of them.

Ok maybe not clumsy. Would be better to be able to search from the ProChannel side.

The work around would be to use the browser then drag and drop the plugins to the FX Chain from there. The Browser menu has been a huge workflow plus for me.  Wish they would add a sub category feature to be able to narrow down your searches even further.
