  1. Exactly. Hopefully this is them moving in that direction. I really dislike the custom shop.
  2. I love what they did with the GUI this time around. Very unique 🤣
  3. So, in other words, it's all my fault.
  4. Why are we necro-ing all these dead melodyne threads?
  5. I just want more soundtoys! (I'm greedy like that)
  6. Eh, I guess enharmonic isn't really the correct term. I just mean that the guitar can have the same pitch in multiple locations.
  7. No tab unfortunately. I would have liked to see that. I think that with how the notation view is directly linked to the piano roll and the enharmonic nature of the guitar, it might be hard to implement.
  8. I agree with this. That has always been the main appeal of Amplitube to me. I play my own music so nailing that We Are The Champions tone (lol) just isn't something that interests me. Even if it were my favourite band it wouldn't interest me, really.
  9. Interesting, I didn't know it was bridge on left. I did notice the switch for single coil or humbucker though and I have to agree I was like WTF when I saw the RS part of that switch. Like, what is the use case for that LMAO
  10. I just tried out the Red Special pedal and the VOX amp... Amps sound good, the pedal didn't seem to do much.
  11. If you aren't a student. It IS being a cheat and selfish. Sorry, but that's the reality here. You're asking if it's OK to scam the system, what did you expect? A pat on the back? If you're out of work and strapped for cash, maybe spending money on the latest and greatest isn't a smart priority. ETA: Notice I didn't even call you a 'cheat' or 'selfish' I said that committing fraud is both of those things.
  12. If you aren't a student. That would be pretty lame and selfish.
  13. No, but he'll sell you a lime green 1998 Mazda Miada for 14 popsicle sticks and a pack of gum.
  14. I spotted him in the wild:
  15. Yeah, there have been a ton of new amp sim plugins released since Amplitube 4 came out. IK will have to pull out something special for 5 if they want to compete. Last time they released 4 amps with Amplitube (the Marshalls) and it came with a few older Sims from 3 or even before that. That won't be enough for 5. They'd need to update some of the older stuff or add something bigger to hit sales like I'm guessing 4 did.
  16. Yep. I've bought lots from them and I've always felt they were a quality service. But you're right, this is not the first time this has happened.
  17. I feel the same way. Positive grid is 90% marketing. They basically ignore users after purchase. Wish I never bought in.
  18. I dunno, I'll be upgrading to a 10700k. I have Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 and from everything I've read, heat won't really be an issue at all.
  19. I don't really get the appeal of Amplitube Max. And I'm someone that really likes Amplitube. Thing is, I have Amplitube 4, Orange, both Fender 1 and 2, Ampeg 1 and 2, Mesa/Boogie, Really all Max gives me is a bunch of super old stuff modeled like, what? Ten years ago? Also, most of those old amps are just old models of stuff in the newer bundles like Fender and Mesa. If they actually updated this stuff it might be appealing. As of now it just seems like a waste.
