Hi all  !!!!

Just some small words from another Human .

I want to wish you all , Health , peace of mind , success for this new years .

The world 's facing challenges , two words are actually moving , an old one that don't wanna die/change , and a new world , fair with a more humanistic approach (should i say rational versus RaceTionnal lol) 

This is  in this time that a forum like that still gives hopes where race / age / religion / social group / political opinion isn't a factor of judgement .

We exerce an ART , and like every ART , its very inherent purpose is the interaction with the entity that consume it (in our case mostly humans) 

This is a strong connection and knowing this entity and its subtilities is how you master it .

All masters in any ART have a deep konwlegde of humans , and how to know them if not spending time with them .

We do it in certain aspect here , but in "real life" i suggest everybody to emphase this factor this year !!!*

Also as humans (still ;)) we 're designed to interact with the reality (not only) so be sure to also emphase the HARDWARE side of thing and WORKFLOW , impact will be wayyyyy more important than new plugins !!!! 

Limitation is freedom , freedom is time availlable  , never forget that  .... (my new clean install is reminding me this like a punch in the face) 

So guyz just be like you are , i love you all , and over the years , i've found out that i could count on anybody here !!

Keep it , it's like asio for all , it can be handy in case one day you need it , i found over the years that it's not introducing any trouble , just a line on audio devices ...but i used it onces doing some editing in standalone apps , and it's wayyyyyyy better than windows drivers .....

I absolutly love the sound of yoiur stuff , but i can't get anything good out of my AGSH , so i stopped here .... don't know , not a newbee but i can't get convicing guitar riff no matter what engine i use in the plugin

Will give ethnic instruments a go ...

I own 6 , what s the formula to get 6.5 ?

Doing a clean install here since few dayz , traktion folder doesn t exist anymore , great synth , that i never used lol

same with a lot of folders ...

some i keep just for old projects ...

Doing a new install and i had to find this again , your rock , i wanted to erase the target but i said let's just disable it .... shame to Magix , Pretty sure if i uninstale soundforge , it will stay ....

All of the freebies are as good (or better) than many of my paybies.  So I'm not sure what number I'd give Efx Refract, but I'd give Arturia something close to a 10 overall.

Exactly , just posted on GS a big thks to Arturia , not only we had a lot of FReebbee but it's not like tripped down versions , and actually solid tools i used in real project , the mini Filter V being one of them !!!

Clearly they dev this for Minifreak , took it in last version of vst's  (Mini V4 being an exemple) and offered us an fx !!

Kirchhoff EQ has all pass filter and I have never tried phase alignment with all pass filter so I'm wondering it's fundamentally the same thing.

The key is the delay (Ms ) in the upper of the gui

Bascially when you siwtch pahse of a sound , it's the whole pahse that is impacted , whol sepctrum ....problem is that pashe sisn't linear in the spectrum , perfect exemple being when you analyse a simple sine at 1 K into plugins when we teste plkugins , we see for exemple for drive based plugin or EQ a lot of time a complet pahse shift in the lowefreq ....

this allows to corrected preciscely this BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

The big issue isn't the phase of a sound , but it's realtion ship with other sounds :!!!

I systematicaly used to modify my sample start on my µAkai S 950 for this very reason , to get my kik and my bass to be "in phase"  , not canceling ...

so in this case a tim shilf is also n,eeeded ...

To answer you interoogation you could do this with an eq and time align from let's say eventide ....but the plugin is convenient and works great , easier to used than waves one .... at 10 $ , a steal ....at 199 , ok, ....but 10$ if you know how to use this : bingo .

If what i said is something totally knew , just do'nt waste your time , because before correcting problem , the ability to spot thyem is key !!!

Notice my dears friends that imho 80 % of your eq moves are due to phase issues , witch is why you emphase certain freq !!

minimoog question. : answer is yes imho , it is the best emu imho in the sens of faithfull, recreation sonically but also , behavior , specially enveloppes and alll witch for exemple i found strange o; the softibe , to narrow sweat spot 

it is limited while minimonsta is a best of flexibility as is arturia ones ....

if i want moog sound , this is the one i will fire , if want dirty , model 82 , if if i want moogish vibe in a 2023 style , the two others ...

I Do think the new skins is worst ... one thing that made never use it in the past was the interface and lack of resize , it has been then updated with several skins but with resize options implementation made kinda messy ...

I started re using it once i had a serious controller to have fun with it ( korg minilogue xd module) but then even so , too many parameters and gui never inviting even when you master its structure .

My point and my concern , is that i love the sound , the maker and i do think this is one of the best plugin around , presets are top quality ... but totally unphased with the reality of the market , niche product for conoisseurs!!

Goal ? Choice ? Personnaly i would love to see anybody with it , a more inviting interface , with adavnced OPTIONS , would make it good for conoiseurs AND people that want an easy and fun interaction ....

Simplicity , isnt a lake of power , but the definition of « justesse!! » , tha a bility to make what has to be , with the optimal amount of component ....

Guyz i noticed ( i didn t updated yet ) that now madchine won t allow erase while holding the pad ( corresponding to sound) , was this a bug known to be introduced at one point ?
