  1. Well Fleer , the good'thing about the ssl old'version is that it sounded good enougth at a ridiculous cpu hit ...

i inow waves knows how to lower cpu , waves omnichannel is an exemple of great sound and efficiency ...

i wonder if it s the buket or oversampling or simply a way to force people to buyz their dsp ...

Back the way guyz , can you reach other waves plugin via the insert ...? All i see is my v10 plugins but my v9 mercury bundle isn t showing ...so my only insert option is abbeyroad mastering console aka imma kill your cpu twice ...

Thks Larry for sharing , really surpised by the sonic quality alone , the workflow is great , could be even better !!!

    CPU hit is ruff !!!

I didn't yet upgraded my mercury , i keep waiting to be worth of it , but with relase at 29 , 49 i'll have to wait for a couple of release , hard to resiste this one and the omnichannel

for fast A/B to hear the sounds of it on drums go at 36 min for session set up go a 14 min !

    Cheers

  3. Yep you guyz right , the layout isn t that great , it s not inviting to chill around ...just like a lambda forum .

talking about deals , it was the most dynamic sub category imho , great place because we got deals , news , discussion about actual stuff , rebiews , fun ...and just one place to check when you wanted to purchase some at a discount .

Plugin Manager is not really being maintained these days and it hasn't been updated in a very long time.  We plan to ultimately depreciate it from Cakewalk. Its only provided for legacy reasons.

The only reason you need to ever use it today is for creating plugin layouts. Everything else and more can be done much more efficiently directly within the Cakewalk plugin browser tab, including scanning from preferences.

What is the reason you still use plugin manager?

Layout is key Noel , also i would to be able to do everything from the browser ..

Another thing is being able to see plugins gui.  Some think it s a gimmic but it s priceless when you have zillion of plugin to manage , and doubles ....

layout is updated every purchases , and every projects !!

And the most ilportant thing i used to do via register , is plugin renaming !!

They earn my vote for the most frustrating company. Not even a new ADPak this year. :(

I do think that they must be working on updating the whole main core to survive the toontrack advance in that area ....
