    PA Sub to Own

Yup, but anyway it can be nice offer for people who doesn't have any PA plugins or only a little... Pay $249, have access to all by ~1 year and after it decide (probably at BDF or Christmas) what you can sum up and own from them... It is not bad idea as it is letting to avoid spending money for lots of plugs which are not really used what I realized usually few months after buy Why I bought such things as boom, some of their amps sims which are annoying me as nothing else with their approach for selecting IRs or bypassing it. Etc... After year access to everything probably if more clear what is really in use... I spent last year $300+ (to earn stupid and so far useless $50 voucher) so $250 sounds not so bad... But well, for me it is the past I desire only about 4 PA plugs and I am done. Rest is not in my radar (till they will do again something new and exciting).
  2. Yep I got it and while I was thinking it was not bad price for the thing current one is much better... Grab demo and have a fun I believe you will like it, otherwise you will save money so win-win Curious about that Warm Audio thing, let us know about your impressions when you got it
  3. Not only, try it on vocal or guitar Essentially on anything what has key frequencies (bad or good to cut or bold) matching this thing. It is really great plug
  4. Simply add it to your cart (with any other product) and apply the coupon code - BUSDRIVERFREE - at the checkout !
  5. Oh, yeah, that plate-140 is absolutely gorgeous , compressors & preamps are very good, I like delays as well, not sure about filters as not my things... Overall it is very good bundle, and who knows maybe for the owners they will be adding some free things in the future Anyway deals to go up from 1 to 3-mini bundle were nice so I discovered Arturia because as a non- keyboard player so previously was not looking at the brand...
  6. Guys! There are listed 2 new reverbs (of 3 you would use Rev PLATE-140 but also In that case it could be no brainer for $49 upgrade
  7. The president is not so generous
  8. Yep, it is so so annoying... Common sense defeated by a kind of ridiculous idea to make bigger numbers for marketing.. Or maybe I should stop complain otherwise they will 'implement' different amps for every gain knob position to have thousands of 'amps' ? What are you considering to be good now if I may ask you? I am still at stage when I like RIGs very much... And also some of those crippled 'amps'
  9. Seems not, at least currently: https://harrisonconsoles.com/site/mixbus.html Still v5 on page.... Maybe in few days will it appear ?
  10. https://harrisonconsoles.com/site/mixbus32c.html Hm, that's it? I hope it is only kind of ctrl-c/v mistake not an attempt to multiply artificially the same thing to get bigger numbers. I don't like such marketing practices. Unfortunately for instance a good know manufacturer did it with number of amps claimed and 'implemented' . So instead of switching a channel in amp we need to load another 'amp' which is the same amp but different channel, madness Workflow killer... But they can 'claim' they have 239 'models' thanks to that trick... Ech... Marketing/PR guys... Did it really matter for us if there were 'only' 169 but with workflow closer to real thing and switching channels by mouse click (like in older versions as well, sick)?
  11. Please let us know if they are really better than other things we can pick
  12. Yep, and comparing to the competitors they seems to offer only 1 amp for the price...
  13. hm, interesting how much work in improvements from v5 to v6 is done actually by Ardour team not Harrison team... But to be clear and honest not that I feel they should not charge anything
  14. Hm... surprise... yet another manufacturer with their implementation for emulation of classics hardware... For sure they are brave with deals 50% giving so 'tempting' for instance ~110EUR for another Neve 225 emulation... The thing is there are better known brands in plugin world so to encourage me even to test and spent time (which is money,as one can say) to check if it can do anything more than plugs I already have... I don't get it they should try to bring as many interest as possible... With such prices it can be hard... Why not to pick PA Lindall 254 waiting for deal for $25 for instance or for Unison lovers wait for BF and their mass promo and pick Neve 336? Waiting for people to grab with current prices they need to predict such thing as introducing new plugins by their current and future competitors, many more tempting deals deals from their competitors so users going to not to them... And after 2 years looking at stats and decision to go to $29W they could discover it was tooo late...
  15. Hm, seems I need to wait patiently for a sale. maybe on BF it will be at 29 edge for Frontier only owners...
  16. Yup, another sad - rather... thing is lack of possibility to demo... When I did my first buy it was kind of trying lucky guess after watching at a video and checking if I liked or disappointed... (Un)fortunately I liked it so after some time ended with several RIGs 😭 But maybe you will dislike it who knows... Several $ at risk of waste... About amp sims there are so many favorites between people in the forum hard to predict
  17. Wow... Lucky you, this is a deal
  18. Still no special deal for their own RIG heavy hitters... If that is the case well... It is easier and easier for me to skip every next such deal. Too many to buy everything, not possible with prices not changing in relation to amount of bought things so no deal... They are unable to sell RIGs anybody who doesn't have a version of THU so... We will see when they will discover such things as RIGs bundles, special deals in relation to quantity, etc... 🙄
  19. Seems free version of this thing is not supporting VST so... I would say to Roland 'no thanks'... https://www.roland.com/us/products/zenbeats/specifications/ We could proudly claim nothing is able to beat CbB between of free DAWs Only thing is lack of CbB on other platforms than Win and they could rules for ever
  20. Because Mixbus is in fact customized Ardour one can find a little 'sneak peaks' what was planned in pages of Ardour devs, They are not new but published after release 5.12 which is the latest one. https://discourse.ardour.org/t/ardour-development-update/78588 https://discourse.ardour.org/t/development-update-november-2019/101945
  21. But, but, but... Tony... Didn't you notice '6' number at the beginning of video? 😃 They have just given the most important sneak peak that version 6 will have number 6 😛
  22. Pulsar smasher https://plugincentral.com/product/pulsar-smasher/ Word of warning, it requires ilok2 driver installed. Cloud session option is available however for those who hates dongle but accept cloud sessions.
  23. hm, so both Fuse Audio Labs and Black Rooster Audio are created by former Brainworx workers... now we have also Nembrini Audio... Seems like Brainworx is nice start in the path for own plugin business
  24. Hm, I think their secret statistics are true answer. I am very curious of them... They question is how much income per month they can grab having plugins at let say average price $199 and how much at $49? They cannot obviously decrease 'catalog' prices not to kill deal effect but is it really only their generosity a reason for sales? While I am still grateful for them I am doubting Also let's notice some old plugins are still great (many records we like were probably produced with them so there are more and more great plugins to chose between... And will be even more... So to be able to sell they need to refer to market and be up to date... Anyway PA is one of the most tuning its price policies last years. They are still adjusting, evolving, learning, grabbing stats, adjusting. Valhalla is always at $50, no sales, but any their plugin is just $50 , So they don't waste time for looking at market and adjusting Setting prices to premium world and high level will need always to use sales as a tool for grabbing instant attention... Like: My God, it is so great plugin and it is only for ...$ now with 75% discount , I need to inform also my friend at once not to let him miss this incredible deal, etc... And of course we have different approach with subs providing small but constant income from a user, it needs to be small to get as many users as possible to collect enough money to make sense for it... But true we are kind of subconsciously treating low price we met as kind of referral. So they need to be careful with it Waves forced 29Revo to market with all consequences not only for them but also for competitors... It is possible it was planned... Anyway often manufactories which are producing and selling with small prices but with huge volumes are overcoming those which have politics premium things needs high price - no premium otherwise
  25. Yep, but thing is whatever quality it is they need to sell it constantly, every month to be able to keep their business running UAD is doing also hardware, PA are soft only so they need to sell plugins in such way to earn enough money at least both for all their costs compensations and development. Whatever odd it sounds I believe it is more beneficent to provide good quality plugins to lots of guys who do not appreciate it enough or even use it (lol? than keep it with high prices to let buy them only by several who fully understand their awesomeness. BTW I am curious what would be world like without 29 Revolution ? Maybe, paradoxically not so bad for us? Not so tempted by prices we would have only few plugins which we could master and also more focus on music creation than not letting any excellent deal to be missed? 🙄 But well, my name is Piotr, I am addicted to plugin shopping...
