  1. I have noticed for years, that (usually) VST SCAN results that include a newly found VST, are not reflected in the Cakewalk plugin menus until the program is restarted. Occasionally, though, they ARE. And, for the first time, I just came across a plugin that did not show up in Plugin Manager until after Plugin manager was restarted (Sonible Balancer). Choosing the "Automatic background scan" option in PREFERENCES/VST SETTINGS/SCAN OPTIONS doesn't help, either. The scan-notification shows that a new VST was found, but the new VST doesn't show yet in the browser. If you close and restart Cakewalk, it will be there, though. A Manual Scan is usually what I do, but it doesn't make any difference. Does a workaround exist for this weakness? It's not the worst problem in the world, but it's a PITA , really. What's the point of the background scan if it doesn't update the UI? I'm using 2020.09 on Win 10, but this problem has been since a lot-of-versions-ago.
  2. You don't need to switch to Advanced...You can edit the workspace you were already using, to include Event List again...go to Manage Workspaces in the Workspace drop-down...in the Workspace Manager you can edit your Views menu, etc...
