Yes, thanks, but not in the way he explains. The nanoKontrol2 driver was listed on the first page, but three times. That was the problem. I removed all three, plugged in the nK2, and only one was then there. Tried my software and everything is working.

I've been having a fit with this. I hook it up (with the correct key combination for Cakewalk when needed). Windows 10 tells me it's there and working. I look under midi devices in Cakewalk: not there. Can't use it if it's not there. It used to work. It also doesn't show up in other software programs where it used to work (Arturia soft synths). I thought it was a problem with the device, so I got a new one. Same problem. The drivers etc. are all up to date. I will now proceed to scream at the wall for the next half hour.
