  1. I really love the arranger in this new version, in fact, I've already put it to use.  The only problem I've seen, so far, is that the docking options for the ProChannel doesn't work for me.  The browser docking options works fine, just not the PC.  I also didn't get any presets with the PC as others have reported.  Otherwise, this will be a fantastic update when it's all ironed out.

  2. Your voice is the star of this song which makes the lyrics very compelling.  I think a simple arrangement is great for this, and the mix is very close.  This sounds about 90% done, so don't overthink this.  Stay safe!

  3. This sounds like it might be the duration of the notes being shortened.  If you're familiar with the Piano Roll View, you might check the duration of the notes there, where you can select the offending notes and edit them at once or singly.  Consult the manual or the numerous videos on editing if you have any questions.  Good luck.

  4. I really like this song and style.  It takes me back.  Your performances are spot on, as well.  I did have a little trouble understanding the lyrics because the reverb is quite present (as 80's era songs often are).  That's just a matter of taste, and all in all, this song is quite tasty.

  5. This is a beautiful song, Rex.  All that stood out to me was the BV vox at the end (around the 3:20 mark); it sounded a tiny bit out of tune.  The rest of the song is fine.  I like the phased/chorused guitar.  You're very close, can't wait to hear it again!

Great collab guys. Outstanding playing, production and mix. I'm jealous of people who can work this fast. Man, I can't even tune a guitar in the time it took you guys to finish this song. ☹️

Thank you so much.  Love your song, too.

Loved all the various musical performances.  I couldn't really understand the lyrics, but I've never understood *her* either.

Thanks David, I don't understand "her" either... ;)

  7. I guess I like this style of music more than I thought.  I had to listen to this a few times so as not to miss anything.  If I had mixed this, I would be very happy!  I'd be even happier if I had played it or written it.  Great job!

  8. Barry, one thing you've done well - you captured the power in your voice and the strength of your guitar playing.  I might mix your voice a tad drier, to let the lyrics shine, and I would pare the song down at the end (unless you plan on adding additional instruments) and fade out.  No matter, you're on the right track if your writing is this good.  You have a special voice that deserves to be heard.

Missed this the 1st time around.
I'm impressed you came up with the lyrics so fast.
I could hear the Lynn and Daryl styles in there for sure. Nice melding job.
Lynn, that kind of swirly vocal fx you're using works really well.
Thought I'd lost my internet when that silent bit came in. 😁
    Congrats on an excellent collaboration.

Thank you, Bjorn!  Daryl's music suggests any number of things, but this song just spoke to me.  As for the vocal f/x, I only used a little delay (eighth note), but I doubled the lead and added a harmony above the lead for 3 parts.  It's the natural doubling effect of the two leads that comes out.  Thanks to you and others for noticing.

  10. Douglas, this is a terrific song!  I'm going to listen to it a few more times to absorb it, but good writing.  It has a great retro vibe and a lot of energy.  All I noticed was that it was a bit bright in my speakers like it has a lot of upper mid range.  But, it does support the vox, so not such a big deal.  Keep up the good work.

Paul, this is a good song that could potentially be stellar.  Your vocal and lyrics are quite good, but, on my end, I'm losing the words because the reverb washes them out.  So, I think if you get the drums right, you might try a little drier mix on the vox.  Who knows?  Good luck with this, I look forward to your progress.

  11. Wow!  Tom, I missed this one due to the craziness of my life over the last few months, but I'm glad I found this gem.  This sounds like a page from my life, in regards to both the story and the musical influences.  If my friends, the Rainmakers, ever need a fill-in, I would recommend you.
