That's a completely different issue and is not something we have control over. If the new ovox had a different vst ID from the old one it won't load automatically if older projects referenced the old version. This is not a Cakewalk problem.
If you insert it in a project and save and reload it does it work? If so the original problem is fixed.
Noel, the night before, Windows 10 upgraded itself, and the next day my problem went away with the new OVox. I don't know if that had anything to do with my problem, but serendipity strikes! Thanks for your quick reply, but, hopefully, I'm good to go.

Its still crashing? I have a confirmation from Waves QA that the 05 release solved the Ovox crash on load issue.
Can you share a project please and a dump file? No, the project didn't crash, rather, the new version of OVox didn't load though there was an instance of the previous version in the project. Everything else was fine. How would I send the project to you? PM me if you want.

There was a problem with Ovox but in the last update we worked around the crash so it should be fine in the latest release.
Any Melodyne crashes should be reported to Celemony support directly.Noel, I have the latest version of CbB (2020.05), and I just updated OVox today, and it wouldn't load into a project with the previous version of OVox. So, it's still broken with CW, and Waves still does not say the two are compatible, yet. Fortunately, Waves gave me a link to rollback to the previous version of OVox, so I'm good to go with my project. Just saying....

Try syncing your delay to your guitar part and experiment with eighth note and sixteenth note delays (or if possible, use the tap delay button if available). You don't need to mix it too much, a little goes a long way, and not too much feedback. That's how I hear U2.

Your consistency is something that makes all of your songs stand out. You're a good example for all of us to follow.

Great production and lyrics on this tune. This put me in a very good mood! Keep em coming!

This is terrific, David. Very good dynamics in this that let it breathe. Apropos for these times.

I like this song, and it has great potential. I think if you punch up the kick drum, it will be closer to what you may be going for. You could also add some percussion that's in cut time to make it seem faster. However it goes, congratulations on stretching your writing abilities and going for something different!

This is one of the most entertaining videos I've seen in a while. I loved this the first time around, and with the vid it's perfection. Go to the head of the class!

This is classic! How about turning the vocal up? Good job on the guitar part, keep plugging away. Well done, Bjorn!

I liked this the first time I heard it, and I like it even better now. You two always choose great songs to record! Encore!

Thanks for responding, so the keyboard model number is Yamaha CP33. And I also don't think that there is any utility of some kind that let's me change settings exept for the cakewalk settings.
Google the manual for this. It does have an on/off switch for local control.

Cakewalk does take over local control of your keyboard, so take a look at your global setting on the keyboard (if you have one) and turn the local control on. Hope this helps.

A fabulous song! The lyrics are transcendent as is your vocal. I'll be listening to this a few more times.

Great song that is aptly named! This is close to being a diy masterpiece and very entertaining. You've gotten good advice, but whether you do anything or not, this is a good song. I enjoyed it both times!

That is certified Fresh! Your expertise in arranging shines in this unpredictable song. It's like skydiving over uncharted territory.

I remember this song well. I like the way you captured the sound and feel of his vocals so well. The tone sounds a little thin to me, but it sounds appropriate. As usual, your choice of songs is fantastic!

This sounds like a classic! I love bluegrass when it's played like this. Congrats.

Count me as a member of your fan club. I love your covers and choice of songs. You turned me on to "One Of Our Submarines", which is on my daily play list now! Keep it up!

Well, that held me on the edge of my seat! I know it works because I want to see that episode. Nice job, Steve.

I love the way you rearrange traditional songs for the guitar. You make them sound like they were written for you! This is a terrific song, and I only wish you turned the guitar up a db or two. Let it shine!

Most of the pandemic stuff is anemic but this is soulful and thoughtful. Great tune.
Thanks David! I appreciate your words and sentiment very much.

Wow, I'm glad that worked for you. It was a lot of fun to do the vocals because I didn't have to "doctor" them up because they were in my range. I'm gonna have to try that technique again...

Good rock song with strong ambiance.
Makke, I'm always glad to hear from you! It sure is fun to play a Strat, isn't it? Thank you for your time and kind words.
