Yes it was the "run as admin" it's on most of the apps. Turned it off and works as expected, thank you. Keeping Admin, Browser's drop-down menu is a good option.

I've tried dragging MIDI file from desktop to an open project with and without a MIDI track.

How to delete Automation on multiple MIDI tracks? For some reason there is a Auto Volume on every midi track and wont delete! (well it deletes, but then come back) Is the Track volume the same as the Event Volume in Piano Roll view? When the Auto Track volume (green line) is lowered it is linked to all the volume sliders in Kontakt in real time. The Red Arrow shows where a volume node was lowered effecting all of the Kontakt volume sliders. Everything to the right of the lowered volume node tshould go down then back up (V shape) but it does not.

aria player piano Channel 1 aria player Horns Channel 14 (but cc 7 volume is on channel1) Something is effecting volume on track 1 (piano) I think it's the cc7 volume chnl 1 on track 14. every-time the track starts, the volume sliders for the piano jump up even if they are all the way down. Even deleting all the midi data from track 14 and the piano track volume sliders auto move. 20 tracks track 14 has a cc 7 Volume chnl 1 It shows on every track in grey when on track 14 I delete it, but it wont delete! Also How to keep CC7 volume settings but change the CC7 to channel 14 instead of channel 1?

Cakewalk - Orchestral template MIDI channel 1 is the Piano. and the sounds are playing correctly until recording is active. When Record is enabled, the piano sounds still work, but as soon as recording begins the piano sound cuts completely out, although the MIDI data is recorded. If Channel 2 (strings) is selected with Record enabled, and recording begins it works as expected. the strings are heard and recording at the same time. What are some things to check about Channel 01 that would record data that you cannot hear? All inputs: MIDI Omni and data is sent via external Keyboard.

Anyone know how to get Aria Player velocity to work? The Velocity data is showing but not linked to the "MOD"in Aria Player(?) Every-time the playback stops MOD drops to 0 velocity, and for some reason when playback gets to the MIDI note the MOD stays at 0 velocity. Currently the AriaPlayer MOD wheel has to be manually moved to hear anything.

yea, it only happens sometimes and it can be useful to have more than one source access the plugin. If they are all checked on and I check a specific plugin, all the other check-boxes disappear.

How to assign multiple midi inputs? Sometimes all the check-boxes are "on", sometimes not.

In this example Zeta2, Dimension Session and Dimension Pro don't seem to have a way to set a MIDI channel. The Track MIDI data can be selected and all data can be assigned a channel, but the VST plugin itself does not have a Channel. Are they all Channel 1? Kontact is the only obvious VST that has a very clear way to set the channel.
