  1. Can I be your friend if I am completely a-poly-tickal? :D:D
  2. Some are *freer* than others. Arguments need to take into account the unconscious, some are more slaves than masters of that.
  3. The odds of one of you killing me is MUCH higher.
  4. Tom, I always thought it'd be cool to have a poly tick-ally controversial song that's played at the convention. Those folks can get gigs for you if you're good to them. I know there's some CG'ers in DC that play at embassy parties etc. Eye of the Tiger is probably the most recognizable. Talk to Freddy J, the style you're after is in his WHEEL HOUSE.
  5. This has got to be one of the best things I've heard all week. Your improv chops are first rate. So tasteful.
  6. Jesse, brian and dennis are still together? wow...wish I was still with james. Here's a song I rote about james James's Love
  7. I LOVE it. :D:D I esp like the manic bongos over that weird bass thingy. Jesse you are a true patriot. Abdabs are the little people you see when the sun hits a prism. This is the cantus firmus THE SCREAMING ABDABS
  8. Pink Panther theme was one of the first songs I learned on the piano :D:D Thanks for listening Bjorn, I think I know where you're talking about viz loud drums.
  9. Thanks for the kind words Andy.
  10. Thanks Freddy. I need someone to solo over my songs, I'm timid.
  11. Jesse too bad we're both so old. I'd have luv'd to have been in a band with you. There's a vein of lucidity in most of your works that hold the pieces together. In this song it's the (designated) keyboards. Hope all is well. Take care. Ok, all right, bye.
  12. Loved this. Liked the nod to psychology :D:D I did a song called white hole but it wasn't about personality per say.
  13. You write lyrics about positive things, This is so well done, thanks for sharing.
  14. speechless. Who did the brass solos? Is that you on all the pianos? Who are the back up singers? I think the easiest improvement if there is one, is to break up the drums into sections. I don't recall hearing many variations or turn arounds. Sounds like you had fun.
  15. Sounds like the guy loved her but *deceived her*. All they needed was dr. drew. On my woof dales the voice sounded a little too loud in the mix, enjoyed this very much.
  16. I like the rough feel of it. Was the distortion on the lead vocal intentional or a happy accident? I like it.
  17. Sad but true. songs have become an advertisement for a live performance. That's the only way they make money. The good news is baby boomers love live music.
  18. Thank you Douglas. Sometimes (I've heard) my ideas are kind of dippy; but they're only meant to entertain. :D:D
  19. I picture someone blowing on a dandelion and the seeds pullulating the landscape. Great stuff.
