I'm not slowing down due to finances, but I'm slowing down. (But I live on a poor country - Brazil - so, sometimes even a $29 plugin can be expensive here).

Like other mentioned, I think that I've 'completed' my collection.

I bought a lot of the (now cursed) $29 waves, then the PA voucher crazyness took place... like most of you. I think that beyond financial struggles, we are all tired of the same tricks, same promises... and sadly, I'm not even making music, just collecting plugins...

There's some tools that I still want, but they're a bit more expensive (Fabfilter plugins, by example). But I don't feel the urge anymore.

I'm just a copy of a copy of copy....

I use Mainstage since 2010. In the latest years I mostly played on a Pink Floyd cover band, and my old Mac is showing some signs of his age... I planned to test GigPerformer to see if I could possibly migrate to windows at some point, and because GigPerformer seems to handle some things better... then I stopped playing for a year, and now I'm playing with a Blues Band and really use just 4 or 5 patches in the entire show, so for now I will keep with Mainstage while my Mac still works

There's no crossgrade path from Gig Performer PA-locked to Deskew full Gig Performer - they are charging for crossgrading from PA Gig Performer UNLOCKED, which is pretty much the same software than Deskew Gig Performer, except with a different authorization method (PA login).

I access their forums too, they seem to be nice people, and I can still see a lot of reasons to complain.

I don't think so. The 4.5.8 PA version even supports the Mac ARM processors, so probably they will continue to work for a good time.

Well, probably nobody bought the PA Gig Performer for 199 or either 99, so almost no one will get the crossgrade price.

It was quite an odd partnership. Deskew see their product as a Premium product, and they associated themselves with Plugin Alliance, that is on the constant 29 (or less) sales. Something was not right.

Not nice news to everyone who bought the PA version.
