Thanks for the listen and comments Tom, Dean. steve, Jesse, appreciate it.

Really like the song, only thing I would change is the amount of delay on the guitar, it's a too over the top for me.
-
Oh yeah, just listened, I hear the crackling. I've been having issues with Cakewalk crackling, never had it with a mix down.
-
Is it on the sax parts? The mic picks up a spitty sound sometimes.
-
fishman is a midi pickup on a guitar, the Rodes keyboard you hear is that. Use it all the time, it can play any synth sound you want.
-
thanks. Do mean crackling? Not on purpose.

Just finished this one, been on the back burner for while until I could think of some melody parts for it. This has my Fishman midi guitar, cheapo strat and Gibson es135 with BiasFx2 , Ezdrummer3 , tenor and soprano sax, PJ bass with Amplitube4 SVX

Cool song, sounds good. I'm not in love with the drums, the super busy kick makes the timing sound off sometimes but other wise I like it.
-
Thanks for checking it out Nigel!

That's cool that it sounds live, I wish I had a drummer! EzDrummer3, is indeed easy to use and customize the track.
-
I'll check that out, my ears are old too so I don't trust what I'm hearing on the high end. I know some aging guitar players end up with a really shrill sound and I don't think they know it.
-
Thanks man. You should get it out. I've been playing since March, sax is easy to play but damn hard to sound good but I've been obsessed with it since I started, so fun.

Appreciate the listen, thanks!

Very chill and interesting track, nice work.

Really like your song, great work! Lot's of tasty details in there. Good hook too.

Sometimes after using cakewalk for a while it will get terrible static during play back. Seems the only way to get it to stop is close the program and reopen it. I thought it might be the buffer was too fast so I slowed it down but that didn't matter. I thought maybe I need more ram so I increased from 32 to 64gb - still does it.

Using my new used Sterling Audio ribbon mic on this one, it sounds great with sax I think, very nice quality mic and not expensive. Usual suspect here tenor sax, Fishman midi guitar, EzDrummer3, Jazz bass with Amplitube4 SVX
-
Good song, interesting details in there. I would bump the drums up just a little.
-
Cool rocking song. The drums are very quiet and the bass is pretty low too, it takes some of the rocking punch out of it.
-
Another cool song Keith! For me the keyboard is a bit loud and drowns out the vocal. I would back off slightly on the guitar delay/reverb too.

There's so many that I use and like. BiasFx 2 for guitar has been great. Amplitube4 SVX bass amp for free is a go to. MEQ and Mcompressor are free and good. Ezdrummer3 sounds great. Been using Xpand2 for synths but feel like I need something else in addition, a lot of the synths are so complicated, I like simple.

Very nice song, great job on the vocals too.

Great sounding track, nice work.
