  1. I love this quote,

Thanks to Ghost drummer Ludvig Kennberg and producer & engineer Niels Nielsen (Ghost, In Flames, Dead Soul, MCC), Unholy Drums will complement our drum sampler OneShot with great joy and death

  2. If you put 8 DynIR cabs, normal price $80, you get 2 for free, so you are only charged for 6, normal price $60, but then you use the code " genome24 " and get 8 cabs for $44!

That's $5.50 per cab, which is pretty reasonable for their quality and they claim that it is equivalent to 160,000 individual IR files.

You can demo, and absolutely should, every cab that you are interested in and even save presets, even if you haven't purchased them, so you can quickly compare to determine which cabs you want.

You do need either WoS or Genome to use DynIR.

I think a great comparison cab with other personal IRs is their 4x12 Mesa Standard OS Slant cab.  YMMV.

Until September 6th, get the Back to School Device Bundle for only $15, a savings of more than 90% from its total value of $160.

This year, get ready for school with an essential bundle of tools carefully curated by Puremagnetik. The Back to School Bundle includes 8 devices — synths and effects for producing new, creative sounds in the studio. Choose from JP-style supersaw synths, bit-crushing chip tune processors, and lush ambience reverbs — all for an unbeatable price

  4. Ouch on the suggested platforms specs though for some people:

    Windows

    Win 10+ (64bit)

    4 GB RAM

    4 cores CPU, 3.4 GHz (4.0 GHz Turbo-boost)

    6GB free hard disk space

    OpenGL 2.0 compatible GPU

ARM processors not supported on Windows

  5. 🎉New plugin release! Version 0.7.2🎉
    https://github.com/sdatkinson/NeuralAmpModelerPlugin/releases/tag/v0.7.2

Here's a few of the new things:
    * "Normalize" switch makes models* the same loudness as each other. Demo in video!
    * Performance improvements! Should drop CPU usage by 30-40%
    * Bug fixes! File paths with non-ASCII characters should behave now, and the last directory used for models & IRs should track correctly on macOS now.

    Enjoy!

*Models have to be from trainer version 0.5.1 and onwards. It's already in the source code so early adopters can use it today, but I'll make a proper release and point the Colab toward it by default soon. Hang tight!

  6. Glad to hear its working out for you too.  I really couldn't get the GUI to work, but opening the text file and adjusting the settings manually wasn't very difficult, but it did take some time reading the documentation and trial and error.

  7. I know this isn't an answer to your question, but I really struggled to try and get the AsioLink software to work properly and it seemed to arbitrarily reset to configurations that were detrimental to my workflow.

I now use FlexASIO instead and it is rock solid for using simultaneous streams, but it isn't a routing solution if you are trying to pass an input to an output.

  8. I think it is a truly amazing bit of software and highly recommend to everyone.   You can load a midi clip you like and stylistically adjust or set as new style.  It uses very few resources and is very intuitive for basic use.   Im still learning the more advanced stuff, but there are some great tutorials on YouTube.

  10. https://modsound.co/tubular

Next-gen amp simulator // public beta

Tubular is a step forward in guitar amp simulation technology. Wave digital filters enable us to simulate complete amplifier schematics explicitly. Physics-based tube equations are solved every sample.

The Tubular beta includes 15 amps, 5 cabinets, 5 speakers, 8 pedals, and stereo modulation, delay, and reverb rack effects. More of everything is coming in Version 1.0.

Tubular is available at a 25% discount while it is in public beta. Updates will always be free, including more content, features, and bugfixes.

My favorite one right now.  The clarity is amazing.

    Warning: pretty high CPU

  11. So for those who bought it, do you think it is a good purchase?  I have Majestica and I like it, but it is so washed out due to the natural reverb and mic positions.  I'd like to know if the additional mic positions, especially the spot one(s?) might be more dry? Also, any other opinions.  Doing Google searches led me to believe that people had differing opinions and some had buyer's remorse at $1500, but no real discussion about the mic piece or additional articulations.

  12. This is still for sale with the same code and it KICKS *****! Super heavy, articulate, and dynamic.

I don't know how I missed this post in December🤔

A new product is expected to be released soon with discounts for folks who buy this too.  I think it will be some cabinets.
