  1. If you have not received the email there may be a way to check your account for vouchers:

    • Log in to you account on uvi.net
    • Click on Personal Settings on My UVI
    • Click on Back To Your Account link at the bottom of that specific page
    • Click on  Vouchers at the bottom of the page.

I found this method by accident one day LOL! It is strange that they don't have a link to this page and you would have to go around this way to find it. 🙃

  2. This is the lowest I have ever seen it! Together with the $100 voucher that you get right away and free upgrades, it is 100% worth it! It has become so much more powerful and can make any sound you want (Sample, Synthesis, Physical Modeling) and also has MIDI Out.

You can use all of it's script processors to control external hardware or other VST's. So that's over 20 unique and individual sequencers each with their own presets. Plus all the other scripts that you can use as MIDI Out that are all together probably 100. You can also get user made scripts that you can find online to use within Falcon or outside it as well with MIDI Out. I have few good ones I found online that I added to Falcon. I would say that it's MIDI scripts are almost like the Players in Reason Rack because you have Chords, Scales, Strum, Arp and Sequencing. But they are a bunch, not just a handful. Also most of the effects they sell at UVI are already integrated into Falcon in some fashion.

There are general presets and then there are the effects presets and multi effect presets, then individual presets from the different oscillators and effects as well as different modulators. So they are thousands! So there are a ton of stuff that you may not see at first glance so you would have to start exploring then you will see all the other good stuff in there. Also all I just motioned is just the factory stuff.  When you add other soundware or expansions then you just multiply it's functionality. It's almost a DAW at this point where their soundware acts as plugins, LOL! All for $199 it's insane!

EDIT: I just found out that UVI also sent out 50% vouchers to account holders. So if you have an account with UVI then check your account or email for the voucher which will make this $99.5 for Falcon 3!!!!!

  3. Yeah....So.... The GAS expanded and I now have close to 700 plugins....😅😩

Also the synth count is 64 in Cakewalk and this does not include the Reason Rack (which I have the Suite version of 11 plus some added rack extensions), Analog Lag Pro (also have version4), Sampletank 4 (with some added Syntronic synths), MPC2 (which contains more synths), or Kontakt libraries. 🤣

  4. I singed up and got their free pedals. Even got TheKlone pedal which required giving my email and was sent a link of it. But I did not receive another email for a drumkit vst. It's not listed on their site and when I search on google only this forum comes up when I search "Neural Drumkit Lite".

I think you can earn credits by buying during intro sales, but not use them for intro.

As for the fire series, some are actually pretty decent. I expect this could be good and will definitely give it a demo.

yeah, I just now noticed it said "introductory offer". Oh well, cant use my points then.

I have mixed feelings about the effect version requiring MIDI input.

I suspect that in a large percentage of use cases, a person might just want to slap this into the FX bin.  In that case, it seems silly to have to have a MIDI track just to hold onto a C note.

However,  you can use keyboard as an assign for things and use the envelopes.  Also the comb filter takes in MIDI input, which can be used for some interesting vocoder like effects.

The midi can be an advantage when you consider that you can sequence the effect with spaces in the notes. You can make it only occur when you want it during different time periods of a song. Plus other scenarios that I have not become aware of yet.

  7. It's easy to forget that we have a FREE version of REmatrix in Cakewalk as a Pro Channel module called REmatrix Solo which is better that the free version but not the full version. It has a lot of presets and can even import IR's (cant do it on free version) and has a lot of IR's already and you can edit Delay which you cant in the free version.

  8. It's a cool multi filter effect. I like how it has a spectrum analyzer and that the filter can be moved along the window kind of like an EQ. It has decent presets that showcase what it can do. It has modulation and has filters that go up to 48 dB. It also has Comb, Phaser, Formant creative modes. It has a "morphing" mode that shifts or changes the filter depending on what is selected.

Anyway, here's a video capture of it I made since I as well could not find any video or review about it:

For $4.90 it is a no-brainer. I did not need it since I already have UVI Shade, but I got it anyway because the price was too good and I had to find out what it can do, LOL!

I would not pay full price for it. If I didn't have any creative filtering plugins, maybe $20 max I would pay for it IMO. I hope this helps y'all make decisions to buy or not to buy this.

  9. For some reason this update makes the plugin have errors and neither Cakewalk or Reason 11 can scan the plugin. So I cant even load the plugin. Cakewalk scans then does nothing and it disappears from my plugin list (both VST3 and VST2). Reason 11 gives an error when scanning for this VST2 then  it doesn't show up in plugin list.
