  1. I just closed my eyes and drifted down the Ganges.  Sounds are great and yes you got the Indian vibe but have blended it well with a stong Western sensibility. Love this.

  2. Great track with one hell of a  groove, filled with excellent performances in a perfect mix. Vocals and guitars stand out. You always put on  a clinic! Love all your stuff!

  3. Hey Lynn, your work is always so creative and this one is certainly no exception.  Thoughtful lryics and an unusual chord progression kept me engaged sll the way to the end. Loved the synths and the jangly guitar, mixsounded just fine to my aging ears. Great work!

Loved At the End of Forever too, great tune!

  4. Larry, really lovely piece, very much enjoyed the flow. Very contemplative piece (if thatseven a word). I'm not listening on the best device so I guess I didn't hear any of the other flaws folks pointed out, either that or you've already fixed them. I thought the cymbals and bass sounded just fine.

  5. I bought S-Gear several years ago and never made much use of it. In the last year or so I've taken the time to really dig into it and now I  use it almost exclusively.

I built and use a Deluxe Reverb clone and a Tweed clone, they both sound  incredible. I recorded a tune with two guitar parts, one done with my DR clone and one with S-Gear. I've since fogotten which amp I used for what part and I can't tell by listening to the song.

I bought the upgrade this morning and am mightily pleased with it. Love the new boost pedal and the updated UI. Wish there was a bass amp, and I wish they'd put this thing into a pedal.

While Cakewalk isn't running, rename  ctrlsurface.dat  within %APPDATA%\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core  to ctrlsurface.dat.bak

    Then start Cakewalk.

Cakewalk will now have no control surfaces defined, so you can add the Mackie Control one for your Pro 61.  Once you've switched it over to Cubase mode within the Mackie Control surface dialog, remember to save it as a preset.

To switch back, quit cakewalk, delete ctrlsurface.dat  and rename ctrlsurface.dat.bak back to ctrlsurface.dat  - when you restart Cakewalk, it will be using AZ Controller again with your original settings.

Sounds like a candidate for a command to switch control surface bindings. :)

  7. Freddy. I really like the tune and am a fan of the genre. I agree with a previous comment about the strength of the chorus but really, it's fine as it is. If you're like me you'll come back to it as you learn more about what works and what doesn't and you'll either take it up again or let it stand as a statement about who you are today. I think this is good work

Been listening to your stuff Kev and this right up there ...I think the old guitar playing is spot on, vox is great and can say nothing about this mix as it has everything it should have ... great work and as Tom says 'Very much enjoyed'

    Thanks Nigel!

  12. I can't tell you how many times I've forgotten to either set the selection on the timeline (or forgotten to select tracks!) before exporting audio only to end up with an empty wav file for my trouble. Sigh.

I often wish I had the ability to define an "export zone" on the timeline that defined the start and end points of what gets exported that persists with the project, kind of like looping or punch regions.

It would also be awesome if it reacted to ripple edits too.

PS. If there's already a way to do this, or even something like it, I'm all ears!

  13. I was only able to listen to the first few minutes but enjoyed what I heard, especially the vocals. Nicely done! I will give the rest a listen tomorrow.
