  1. @MusicMan IMHO, there are plenty of monoizing plugins and it's pretty straightforward, but Stereoizer is something special. I barely use the widening feature, like maybe 5-10%. It uses both frequencies and/or time to do its thing , and it just adds a 3D depth which I haven't found in other "widener" plugins. Demo it and see what you think. It a good one!
  2. Stereo Placer Elements is my least favorite of the three and I don't really feel the need to upgrade it. Monofilter (full version) is pretty useful. Stereoizer (full version) is awesome and sounds really great. My only knock on them is that I have to read the manual each time I use them because the UI is so unintuitive - at least for me. Of the three though, Sterioizer is my favorite and my go-to. I've gotten away from "wideners", but Stereoizer gives a very nice dimension and depth that I haven't heard in other similar type plugins. IIRC, licensing is machine based with an iLok option and you only get 1 seat.
  3. Yep, works now. It's there in Custom Shop. Thanks IK!
  4. Ah ha! You have to hover over the "Authorize" button on Amplitude5 in My Products and click RE-Authorize! --- edit --- Nope, that didn't unlock it in Custom Shop either... 🙄
  5. Didn't work here either...
  6. That's when I bought in. They were the first Dev I went "all-in". It's sad to see they haven't done anything new since Little Plate. (?) They went from a premier Dev to an afterthought. Such a promising company and great plugins, it's just too bad. I wonder if they lost their main developer or some other internal shake-up happened? (Disclaimer: pure WAG conjecture!) Anyway, hopefully the new website in indicative of new things coming from SoundToys.
  7. I stopped reading this thread a while ago, but every time I see it I keep thinking of this comment: GarageBand and iRig on an iPad was my re-entry into recording about 8 years ago. It doesn't get much simpler than that. (Unless you want to export the tracks!) I think Presonus is set up very well to do something like that, only better IMHO.
  8. 🤔 Would it work?? Do you get to keep them after? That's brilliant!
  9. Here you go: https://www.tbproaudio.de/products/isol8
  10. Anyone know why Softube no longer accepts PayPal for U.S. customers? To bad, I was all set to buy it too. Just as well, I've got a whole pile of Tape plugins from the IK Group buy now anyway... 😁
  11. Yes, I did and I'm full up! I've been eying the Tape plugins and Fame and few others for a while and this was a great way to pick up them up and was totally worth it. I just wish there was something to do with extra picks... 🤔
  12. It was too good to pass up. Soooo, are we just plain out of luck if we have no more T-Racks we can pick? 🤔
  13. @MusicMan Unfortunately, you can only use your referral code on a first purchase...
  14. I don't know why the S1 Splitter never makes those features lists. It's got to be the most underrated feature ever...
  15. Back in 2015, I demoed a bunch of DAWs and my short list was down to Cakewalk and Studio One. I found a deal for S1 Producer and went with that and haven't looked back. It wasn't really anything specific. I found I kept comparing any other DAW I demoed to S1. The workflow was intuitive and worked for me.
  16. Looks awesome! Thanks Boz!
  17. Anyone use these? Open back HP are on my someday list. All I ever see/read about are the Senheiser HD650s ($$!)
  18. @Peter - IK Multimedia Now can you work your magic and get them to make the Amplitude plugins as separate VSTs? 😁
  19. I was going to write the same thing...
  20. Let's see what VirusTotal has to say about it. It's big so it may take awhile. -- edit -- I'm back. A handful of sites couldn't process the file, but the ones that did all came up clean...
  21. $20.68 at Best Service https://www.bestservice.com/amplifikation_rectifor.html
  22. I've been watching Pi & Phi for years but it has always been too expensive. But this is as low as I've seen it, but still not no-brainer territory. I love the idea of the whole phase aligning the different frequency ranges for clarity (I think that's what it does) but it was just too subtle for me back when I demoed it. I would love to hear someone's input on this one too.
  23. Dang it! PSP Old Timer - bought and installed. A couple of years ago I was trying to thin out plugins and was thinking PSP was one Dev I could do without. A few sub $20 no-brainers later, and I'm collecting them again. My two most used are the Twin-L and the 2445 EMT reverb.
