  1. If TTS-1.dll is still in "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared DXi\TTS-1" you could try re-registering the plug-in by opening up a command window as administrator and typing regsvr32 C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared DXi\TTS-1\TTS-1.dll If the file is not there or fails to register, a simple uninstall/reinstall using BA (or uninstall from Windows and use the Cakewalk Web Installer) should bring it back.
  2. This happens when the installer detects a previous install. The installer reads the value from the registry.
  3. Bandlab is aware of the issue. Thinking it may be a problem with BandLab Assistant, I sent an email to @Jonathan Sasor and he replied in one of the threads. AFAIK, nothing has changed WRT the installers and the initial thought was the MS redistributable libraries were messed up but this does not appear to be the case. I am sure there will be a solution to the problem but it may take a few days.
  4. The problem is the images are on an unsecured server. In Edge Under Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Insecure Content Add https://www.cakewalk.com to Allowed
  5. The Cakewalk Web Installer has not been officially released, however; the EA version is available.
  6. I doubt that will help. Others have tried reinstall and updating MS libs. In the last couple of days there have been two other threads about this It is unusual.
  7. 1. remove the link from the post
  8. workspaces I usually use the help index to find things. Some prefer searching the pdf version. They both contain the same information.
  9. There have been several reports over the last two days. Jon knows about it and I am sure the staff is reviewing the issue.
  10. Probably need to wait for @Jonathan Sasor (or someone else from the staff) to return to the thread
  11. There is no direct download of CbB. Never has been. The Cakewalk by BandLab website provides a link to BandLab Assistant. BandLab Assistant runs BandLab (the DAW) from the top icon in the Apps tab and installs Cakewalk by BandLab using the install button below the second image in the Apps tab (this is documented here). Had you selected the install button below the second image we would not be having this discussion. That said, BandLab Assistant for installing and updating CbB is being phased out in favor of the Cakewalk Web Installer and in-app updating from the CbB help menu.
  12. As I mentioned above, the image in your post is a different DAW. BandLab (the company) offers two free DAWs BandLab - this is the one in your image above Cakewalk by BandLab - this is the Windows-based DAW developed from the SONAR sources.
  13. You looking in the wrong place. The company that made SONAR is no more but their website is still running for users who already own the products. BandLab purchased the Cakewalk IP from Gibson and with a couple of the staff from the old company created a new free product called Cakewalk by BandLab. To install Cakewalk by BandLab download and run the new Cakewalk Web Installer.
  14. The image in your post above BandLab the web-based DAW. That is not CbB the Windows DAW developed from SONAR.
  15. There is no paid version of CbB. Hopefully you are not confusing BandLab the web-based DAW with Cakewalk by BandLab the Windows DAW program. What version are you running. Maybe posting an image of what you are seeing or a link to the youtube video may help.
  16. With the exception of adding a few more options, visually the preference screen has not changed since the first release. If documented features are not visible, it may be your workspace setting. If workspaces is set to None and the FX racks are not visible, it could be the Track Control drop down setting
  17. Is "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Studio Instruments" or any of the subdirectories compressed compressed?
  18. %appdata%\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core
  19. There still may be a problem with the MS redistributable libraries You can download them from Microsoft or use this special installer @Jonathan Sasor built. If you elect to get them from Microsoft you will need the x64 versions for "Visual Studio 2012", "Visual Studio 2013" and "Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022"
  20. BA is being phased out for CbB installs and updates. Try the Cakewalk Web Installer
  21. Preferences is a graphical editor for master.ins

    Virtual Synth goes dead

Well known issue with Cakewalk sfz engine synths such as Rapture Session and Studio Instruments. See this post for solutions
  23. It is possible using directory junctions. I find it preferable in most cases to use directory junctions rather than messing with preferences and registry entries. There are several discussions about how to use directory junctions. Search the forum for mklink
