I'm not sure if I have accidentally changed a setting or if a recent upgrade has affected this. Hope someone can tell me where to change this setting. In the past I could click inside the waveform view of a clip to set the "now" position and only if I clicked in the bar at the top of the clip would it select the entire clip. Now, anytime I click anywhere inside the clip the entire clip is selected and my "from" and Thru" positions are lost. How can I set this back the way it was. Maybe this is just an old bad habit and there are better ways to do things ... but I've been doing it this way for 20+ years so not easy to break my familiar workflow. Thanks in advance

I wasn't but I just closed it and launched it again as admin and still get the circle/slash when trying to drag a file into Calkwalk.

Yesterday my Calkwalk got updated to latest 27.04.0.144 and now I can no longer drag and drop an MP3 or any other audio format file into a track. Now I have to go to the track menu and "import audio". Is this a feature/bug with Calkwalk or some setting I accidentally set? Or something else entirely and just a coincidence that it happened at same time as the Calkwalk upgrade? Now when I drag an audio file to a track, it shows a circle with a slash thru it. However I can grab audio from one track and drag it to another track without any issue. It's only when I grab audio from outside Calkewalk and try to drag it into Cakewalk. I've been dragging audio into Calkwalk for years without any issue and this is something new.
