When I record multiple midi tracks in Cakewalk or Sonar, why do I hear them all playing on the same instrument?
When i record the first midi track for example: a Bass then without stop the record then i select another midi track to record drums, then when the loop start again is hear the first track with a bass sound and in the drum track recorded i hear the notes with the bass sound.
When i stop the record then the tracks are right.

In Cakewalk by bandland, i can't copy and paste multiple tracks in piano roll. it only let me select the notes from one track.

I know Track Nudge, but this moves the clips, It's better a knob like midi tracks, you have the clips in the right position but the knob move forward and backward the audio any ticks or seconds.
Thanks Hibi i put in feedback loop this request.

Offer a little control on each audio track which would enable you to make the whole track play several ticks earlier, or later, than its default position. This was a good way to experiment with a track's time position... without actually nudging the audio clip contained, forward or backward.Like Cakewalk have in midi tracks.

I tried this option, turn off the Enable Midi output, don't fix the problem. when i do the same using external synth, i have the same problem.
the first track a bass line, sound right and the second track a drum, play the notes recorded with the bass sound, when i stop the loop then two tracks are right.
