thanks for your reply. Unfortunately it's not the scroll lock, I checked it. Could it be a conflict with 3 rd party plug ins?

Hi everyone, I'm new to cakewalk and to the forum. I'm experiencing the following problem: the sound won't go past the now time ruler. The now time ruler actually stands still and doesn't follow the music. i thought it was because of an audio file i had imported,at first... but it's doing the same with midi notes. i have deleted the project but the problem is still there...Any ideas? Thanks.
