  1. So I broke down and got Hammers yesterday. I was hesitating a bit but have a project I’m working on that I thought could really benefit.  I’m a big NKS fan and I couldn’t find any info whether it was supported or not.  To my surprise it was with full previews and all controls mapped in KK.  So if you were wondering it supports NKS :)

Have no idea why it’s not even mentioned in spitfire website.

After picking this up, I realized I had picked up Animate from Plugin Boutique free November of 2020.  It has all four modules as shown here.

Same here, I went to install and I skipped the instruction details so was trying to find Punch in installer and wasn’t there.  Then once I figured out it’s part of animate I then realized I already had it haha.  Shows how much I’ve been using it.

Not sure if everyone needs un upgrade code/coupon.  In my case I did because was trying to upgrade from v2.

Below is link to other upgrade options based on what you own.   If you only own legacy collection then I think you need to use korguser.net for the code.

  4. I have two of their plugins.  Was hoping they would have a complete the bundle deal during their sale but after submitting a support case they came back and said only option is to buy individual plugins at 30%.  Too bad as buying bundle is about $50 less than buying all at 30% off.

The idea is not god awful. I am a firm believer in not giving yourself extra work for repetitive tasks. Pop music has been using same chord progressions forever and having them handy is a timesaver. I just hate the concept that it's that simple. Plenty of awful songs used the same chords.

I’m just bitter because he is probably making bank with how much exposure he gets haahah

  6. Wonder if anyone who gets banned from Starbucks goes into Pete’s coffee/competitor and starts complain about baristas having a power trip haha  i should do this one day to see people’s reaction….

  7. I don’t own any Rob Papen plugins but saw that the more plugins you own the cheaper it is to upgrade to explorer 6/7.  I did that with Eventide where I picked enough cheap plugins that eventually got a really good price on Anthology.  I’m kind of wondering if it’s worth doing this here too.  Seems a lot of plugins are quite old though.  Anyone with explorer 6 have any comments if there are any gems that maybe have been upgraded recently or would justify getting the series?

Not sure what the 1.1.3 update was all about, but the buttons are still behaving as before ...

Modeling the drums was piece of cake.  The team has been struggling to model up and down arrows as it has proven extremely technically difficult.  The physics behind the modeling are so extreme they have a whole team of phd’s going up and down elevators trying to understand what happens when you press up and then down.

I still need to work through the other YT tutorials on EZbass. i havent seen the feature where it suggests other bass parts that are based on what you recorded in midi.

Check out the video I posted  earlier in this thread. He briefly covers having the tool suggest a similar groove.

You don't need EZ bass for that. You can already do it in CW. Just drag the audio clip to a midi track.

Not sure if you checked out the video but a nice feature was having ezbass find similar grooves as what it converted from audio from its library.  So seems like a nice way to spice up what it captured instead of straight audio to midi conversion.  Also, I’m not too familiar with CW audio to midi but ezbass was pretty good about capturing articulations like slides, etc.  Although telecode mentioned some of this was lost when exporting onto midi track so I’ll need to try this out myself.

Certainly MODO for sound. To muddy the waters further the Ample Sound basses sound terrific and have a different set of songwriting tools to EZBass and should be included in a comparison. Ample's riffer function is very powerful with a large library of parts that really nail things like string selection for greater realism,  EZ is better for chord progressions.

Amplesound is having summer sale and best service prices have been reduced appropriately.  Best service coupon works through July 23.

I don’t own any Amplesound libraries so this complicates things hehe
