  1. Here's a slow movement from a new larger work I'm currently writing. This adagio is scored for English horn, harp, Dune, chamber string section and solo violin, solo viola and solo cello. I hope you enjoy listening. PLAY Jerry
  2. I upgraded to the Adam S3H's. Yeah, they're expensive but also the best monitors I've ever used. And I'm sure they'll be the last monitors I ever purchase.
  3. I still have these wonderful powered monitors for sale. They are in superb condition, no scratches, marks, etc. I am the original owner and they've only been used in a permanent smoke-free installation. $2500 for the pair. Will only sell locally to the San Francisco Bay Area, must pick up, will not ship. Jerry email: jerry@jerrygerber.com
  4. If there were ever the devil in human form it would be him...
  5. True. Another way to look at it is: When you talk to God we call it prayer. When God talks to you we call it schizophrenia! 😵
  6. Thanks noynekker. I decided to go with Abbie for releasing the single and have Kira's interpretation on my next album. Jerry
  7. Thanks for listening Kurt and sharing your opinion, much appreciated! Jerry
  8. I am trying to decide which recording I want to release as a single and for my album. I am interested in hearing opinions as to which singer you like best. I know it's subjective and I think both of them are excellent, which is why I am having a hard time deciding. Thanks for responding! Jerry Home & Love
  9. I don't think I would call it through-composed. The music obediently follows the form of the poem. Seems more like 3-part song form.
  10. Hi all, I just remixed this song to better balance the voice with the music. Kira has such a wide dynamic range that I had to use many volume envelope (fader) changes to make sure every word and syllable came through clearly. I think this new version is an improvement.. Thanks for listening, stay safe. PLAY Jerry www.jerrygerber.com
  11. I found a few errors in the score and fixed them... Jerry
  12. The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma complications from repeated pokes to the belly. Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin with the gravesite piled high with many flours. Numerous celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, Betty Crocker, the California Raisins, the Hostess Twinkies, and Captain Crunch. Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded. Born in 1965 and bread in Minnesota, Poppin’ Fresh rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was never considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half baked schemes. A little flaky, he was known as crusty man, but still considered a positive “roll” model to millions. Doughboy is survived by his wife Play Dough; three children – John Dough, Jane Dough, and Dosey Dough…plus, they had a bun in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly uncle, Pop-Tart. The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 15 minutes.
  13. I recorded Home & Love with a 2nd singer as I wanted to hear two different interpretations of the piece. One singer is from Nashville, the other from Vancouver, Canada. They are both excellent singers. I can't say I prefer one over the other. Jerry PLAY
  14. Thank you Bjorn. I wrote the melody, no improv in this piece. I wrote it in two keys and let the singer choose which key is best for her range and gave her the written score and the vocal part. Best, Jerry
  15. Glad you enjoyed noynekker... But, what are "wolf tones"?
  16. Glad you enjoyed listening!
