Halfway through my project I find the overall project is too slow. I have both audio and midi tracks. Midi no issue, it's the audio doesn't change.
Audacity allows to change easy and doesn't ruin the audio.
Is there a process to do this or am I doomed to start over from scratch?

Don't know about everyone else, but . . . I have been using asio4all for 10+ years and never had an issue.
Set my friend up with Behringer & asio4all - works fine.
Sound install in 4 churches using asio4all with no issues.
I use Win10 - Presonus Firestudio Interface.

It's been longer than a year since I have logged in to visit Cakewalk Bandlab. Now it looks like everything has to be purchased. My products don't exist and my serial number is no longer valid.
So - is Cakewalk no longer free?

A question about mapping: I know drum mapping pretty well and use it faithfully. Absole necessity when writing drum parts.
I'm not a keyboard specialist. Every prog has it's own articulations and requires a huge learning curve to use adequately.
Could there be such a thing as vst Instrument mapping similar to drum mapping? I can see a vast need for a self programmable map to view all the articulations.

Plugin Mgr has DimPro as an effect instead of softsynth. Ideas how to change. Would love to know how to edit SoftSynth categories if possible.

Editing Issue
in Q&A
Editing a track with lots of pops (extreme clipping). I can slice the pops out, move tracks together, bounce, BUT an artifact is created that is as bad as the pop. No matter how far back I edit it won't go away.
So artifact zoom in looks like no matter how exact I slide the tracks together, after bounce there is a significant space at the join with a -3db peak and very loud.
Tried all the tricks I know. Any thoughts?

Using Melodyne 3.2. Using cakewalk vst utility scan - it always locks up the scan when it reaches the cre83.dll. Has there been a fix/workaround yet? Sucks to have to locate it on a different drive.
Thanks in advance for any help.

So - to land the plane -
The truth is Melodyne HERE is only a LIMITED trial version that could have been downloaded direct from Celemony and is just a carrot to DL Platinum.
I would be better off reloading full feature Studio 3.2.2.
Pity. Lot of wasted time.
-
Don't see anything related to Melodyne activation.
Is this just a trial version? Shame if so. main reason I moved from sonar + Melodyne 3.2.2 was for M4
-
How do I activate Melodyne. It would be a shame if it is only a trial. I could have stayed with my old daw and M3.2.2.

AWESOME guys. Worked fine.
Still couldn't install sections to where I needed them but moved manually.
I appreciate the help.

Advertised as not affecting any other product installed. NOT TRUE. Corrupted Sonar x3. Tried 4 different times. Meticulously gone thru registry to try to get as clean an install as possible three times. All support says is that they don't support Sonar x3 and sales blurb about how wonderful this product is. To me if it won't install, it's not that wonderful. Always the same failures:
Install Errors
GroovePlayer.dll
CW130Auto.dll
MackieControl.dll
Arpeggiator.dll
ChordAnalyzer.dll
EchoDelay.dll
EventFilter.dll
Quantize.dll
Transpose.dll
Velocity.dll
All state - "Unable to register the DLL/OCX: RegSvr32 failed exit code 0x3"
Also
"Code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found."
"Code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll was not found."
"Code execution cannot proceed because CONCRT140.dll was not found."
"Re-installing may fix this problem" – DID NOT FIX
CP will not boot
Not a beginner. Does anybody know the reason/fix?

I use Sonar x3. Everywhere I looked people stated Cakewalk Platinum would NOT affect that install. So I decided to dl to evaluate. Installed separate drive for that process. DLed Assistant and Cakewalk with all features. Turns out that yes, you can install the main prog to wherever you want. HOWEVER
Stuff went everywhere!!!!! VSTs and other stuff were sent to my Sonar locations on another drive (the option to change this was greyed out) and a huge amount of stuff sent to C:. This install takes up three drives!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's OK because
Install Errors
GroovePlayer.dll
CW130Auto.dll
MackieControl.dll
Arpeggiator.dll
ChordAnalyzer.dll
EchoDelay.dll
EventFilter.dll
Quantize.dll
Transpose.dll
Velocity.dll
All state - Unable to register the DLL/OCX: RegSvr32 failed exit code 0x3
Also
Code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found.
Code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll was not found.
Code execution cannot proceed because CONCRT140.dll was not found.
Re-installing may fix this problem – three times DID NOT FIX
CP will not boot.
Sonar boots but missing half functions
Work now at a complete stop.
Changing overall project tempo
in Cakewalk by BandLab

Thanks for the reply Mark.
Might be just as simple to export tracks & clips, import to Audacity, change tempo and export tracks. Just thought as sophisticated as CW is, you would have a simple way to do this. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one this has happened to.
Oh well . . . (sigh) . . . . .
