Since forever, I think, all the SONARs, Music Creators, Pro Audios, et. al. have never been video editors. They will play a video and allow you to record along with it, but you can't move the video, can't slice and dice it, can't add to it. It's just there so you can try to record and sync audio to the video. That being said, I have never worked with vids except to see how it worked (in SONAR Home Studio, I think it was) years ago. Being a long-time reader of these pages, I have read from others with similar dilemmas and the best solution is to use a dedicated video editor. What exactly do you mean by "resolution I need to place the words correctly"?

Understandable. I use an old, slow machine, so I'm used to the apparent snail-like progress of these more complicated programs.* *Not on Cakewalk Sonar yet but am learning what may occur when I do upgrade from this forum. Thanks!

It's free, with a cost.

When I'm blocked and no amount of inspirational laxative will help, I record a cover. They're bad, and not in a good way.
-
I can see that it would be a problem for the user, but it's not a problem with the software. They have cut no features from the free edition. It's like it always was.

What ASIO audio interface are you using?

Do you think the AI that wrote the copy knows what 'disgusting' means? I don't see anything disgusting about the incident. Unfortunate. A little funny. Possibly painful, but nothing like getting poop thrown in your face by a bored orangutang.

Yikes! I remember when that happened. I was in the AF at Vandenberg then.

From another thread I read this morning, I gather this will be a frequent query. Workspaces are not included with the free version of Cakewalk Sonar, despite the start-up message asking you to choose a workspace.
-
Yes, others who use the free version all have this occur. It's not a problem; workspaces aren't included with the free version. The dialog you see upon installation seems to be something left over from the full version which needs to be removed, I think.

We went to Florida for my brother's birthday and we're the ones that received gifts. He bought 3 of these at a yard sale for $60. Gave them all away. "All you need is a screwdriver".

Playlists display wonky in Sonar compared to Bandlab Cakewalk

While Mark seems to be everywhere all the time, quoting him before you reply will alert him that there is a reply the next time he logs in. -
Welcome to the tumult! Seriously, congratulations. I think you will be a great asset to this nation.

Just came back from a week in NW Florida visiting my brother and family. Returned with a SAGA guitar kit and an Angus Young hat. I'm free to build a fake Les Paul and thrash in A for as long as I want! Happy day to everyone!!

Saw Mott the Hoople opening for Grand Funk in Germany in 1971. Didn't know who the Hoop were but enjoyed their show. Liked Bad Company, too, and some of their songs were fun to play at our shows. RIP.

When opening CbB I get a message about the special deal for Sonar. While it is a deal, I can't justify adding another monthly payment to my budget. Anyone who has ever heard my music knows I use almost none of the extras included in any Cakewalk program. I record, do a little mixing and that's it. And SONAR Home Studio 6 is still working well. But for those who go far beyond just recording, I say go for it.

I like it!

Most people here are using a Cakewalk program. Cakewalk programs only work on Windows, ergo he's using Windows.

There was this bluegrass thing going on in Raleigh last year and my cousin Kim came all the way from Charleston, SC just to see her.

I haven't heard/read that name in decades and now I have 2 times this week. What do I do???

Is that Rain on the right?
-
Coincidentally, I just watched a movie last week called "The Late Quartet". Released in '12, I'd never seen it. I enjoyed it and they talk about Beethoven quite a bit. Christopher Walken, P. S. Hoffman, Catherine Keener. Good flick, a little soap in it, but that's okay.

Hopefully this is the beginning of a new trend...

They're colluding with the power companies to get the stereo users to crank it up and use more electricity and raise their electric bills. -
If you have an older version, it can no longer be activated/refreshed. If you have the latest program, it's a cinch.
