I'm quite surprised my comment was seen as so negative. The guy is called Dirk, he's constantly trolling with his deals and changing conditions. So "dirk move" is a bit of a pun, nothing more. I found it quite ironic, that he leaves the company with a deal while suspending the monthly voucher in the process.

I do have my problems with him though. I am a member of his facebook group and his actions there were more than questionable. He published private messages of complaining users to openly ridicule with his crownies. I am not a fan of the word toxic, but that behavior IMO clearly qualifies.

I knew it, I had suspected they'd leave out the upgrades. Very disappointing IMO! I already skipped 5 because the deal was just 30% instead of the usual 50% the years before and was ready to jump back on.

I got a very nice answer from support. Technically they confirmed I was only eligible to upgrade to rx10 standard, but said they'd happily do an exception and offer me the advanced version for free! So if anyone's in the same position, go ahead and contact them!

This is such a trash move on their part. They should have stated this upfront, unless they did and I missed it somehow.

I suppose they mean people who bought RX9 Advanced on its own, not within a bundle. And yes, that would be pretty trashy, everything bundle should mean everything.

Well, I hope support will do the good thing..

it's a bit dishonest to then give you a different/cheaper version as an update IMO.   I only bought the Everything Bundle for the free updates to v10..I had everything anyway.  I won't be that pleased if they were trying to be sneaky.

Izotope support are normally pretty good (slow but good), so let's see what they say

Yeah, the problem is, they meant the versions within MPS 5. So yes, we will get Ozone 10 Advanced but only RX 10 Standard. I hope since some of us bought the everything bundle pretty recently (less than 3 months ago), Izotope will be king enough to make us whole

I bought the Everything Bundle in june and now got RX 10 Standard in my account. I think I'll ask for the advanced version..

I bought the everything update via plugin discount yesterday. Worked fine, I'm pretty sure Izotope couldn't care less. This is not the first "mistake" and it works, even taking advantage of those mistakes I spent about 400$ on Izotope products this year, so.... ;)

Yes, no good upgrade path is also an issue. I would be eligible for the 199,- crossgrade, maybe there's gonna be a deal on that as well.

Yeah I know, IF I could choose. Or buy further kits one by one. Also this a deal price, I never paid that much for an Adpak . I really think IK Multimedia could sell a lot more using a one kit at a time + kitpieces model. But still, I'm on the fence

Modo Drums SE usually costs half of the full version, but only contains 2 of 10 kits. 3 kits of my own choosing would be fair I guess. Still tempted...

Didn't they say the quick turnaround from v10 to v11 was because of mac problems? So they basically had to make a new version because of that, but v11 was supposed to stay longer. Well I guess they thought a year is long enough. This is a really sketchy business model
