No new plugins or updates. I have the impression that my bugs occur when I have a lot of processing going on at the same time.
I'll test my RAM and get back to you.

The problem is almost always a plug-in.  Have your tried to start in safe mode?  How about bypassing all EFX and seeing if you still get the crashes?  You may have to do some detective work to find out what is causing the crash.

Hello, I'm writing to you because since the update, cakewalk has been closing completely and very regularly.

Let me explain.

As soon as I do something, load a plugin or record several tracks, cakewalk freezes and closes itself. I don't get any error messages.

I recorded and mixed two big EPs last year and never had this problem.
Except that today I've got a new project, and I'm completely stuck.

Even opening old projects bugs.

I may have a solution, I have "frozen" all my tracks and it seems to work for now.

Hello, I'm writing to you because I have a major problem when I export my projects in MP3 or WAV.

I find myself with a lot of audio crackling, and the longer the track is, the more there is.

I tried to export by changing the Buffer Size of my audio driver (512 / 1024 / 2048) but the cracking persists.

Is there a solution?

I could share my latest audio export so you can hear my problem

Le son d'une majorité de mes morceaux (il y en a encore 2 3 actifs) est coupé toutes les 10 secondes sur tous mes projets.

Le mixage est très ennuyeux ^^

Et c'est vrai, il suffit de suivre les modifications pour trouver le problème. Lors de mes voyages avec le logiciel Cakewalk, j’ai trouvé trois facteurs principaux pouvant causer des accidents,

1- Plug ins

2- Périphériques matériels / audio

3- Pilotes corrompus.

(mon 4ème) - Le logiciel lui-même / bug Cakewalk. Une mention honorable pour les dernières mises à jour de Windows.

Je suis content que vous ayez compris ce qui le causait. Meilleurs vœux.

Dites-leur quelle DAW vous utilisiez pour qu'ils puissent également valider leurs produits avec Cakewalk.

hello, thank you for your answer. cakewalk stops either when I mix or when I record.

for Plugin I use mainly, waves, STL tones, Superior Drummer 3, TSE x50, soundtoys, fabfilter and Kontakt 6

for the minidump file I take care of it as soon as I'm home

I would start by loading a new project and see if you notice any consistency between projects. If not, it could be one project corrupt or possibly a bad plug in working in that project.

I try to start a new project but i have the same bug too.

I dont understand Why i dont have any error message when Cakewalk close.

Hello everyone, for some weeks I have serious bug on cakewalk.

my software closes alone during my work sessions, with no warning message or bug report.

and this bug is driving me crazy, I lost 5 hours of recordings last time.

In addition to these, Cakewalk often bug because of my virtual instruments, without my being able to save my work (as the error message indicates)

if you have solutions I'm interested!
