I've got a stupid amount of MIDI modules/synths:

    Kawai K1R, Kawai K1
    Yamaha TX81Z, TG500 x 3, MU10 x 3, MU100R, SY77
    Roland D110 x 2, U220, CM64 x 3, MT32, D550, JV1010 x 3, JV2020, VariOS
    Korg Wavestation SR, X5DR, NX5R x 2, X5D
    Casio VZ-8M x 2, CZ3000, CZ1, VZ1
    Evolution EVS-1
    Alesis D5, SR16
    SMPro V-Machine

I sampled all the sounds I liked from most of them (which took me literally months), and now I hardly ever switch them on. The only two that get any use is the X5D (a great live workhorse) and the SMPro V-Machine, which can play the samples of all the rest. Apart from that, I do everything in the box nowadays.

I still have some of them "wired up" in the studio though. so I can always go back to the hardware synth and edit a sound / re-sample if I really need to.

I have an X5DR i use in Cakewalk by bandlab  Can you please tell; me how to change the bank s?

    Thank you

You can't select two inputs or outputs from DIFFERENT devices in WASAPI shared mode. Its a limitation of how shared mode works.

If you want to use different devices simultaneously use WASAPI exclusive mode which has the ability to pick independent devices simultaneously. Of course this will only work if the two different devices support the common sample rate.

I tried changing drivers and changing buffer size. Nothing seems to work? I get a audio engine has stopped error and playback stutters ever since I bought Apollo X4?

Can you post another screenshot, only this time zoom in on that pop up box (the one that's giving you the error). Its too small to read. you can use a housing site for better results but for right now, what that text says in the pop up will shed light on whats going on.

  5. Hi Mark

    Thank you for responding

I did everything the way you explained it. I have MCU Pro in the Middle  XT on the left and XT on the right when i configure it I put Left XT 1-8 MCU 9-16 =-XT right 17-24

i save it   it works  Cake walk then crashes   it crashes about 5-6 daily?  when i reopen Cakewalk I have to configure it all over again? it doesn't remember the settings? Do you have any Idea why Cakewalk crashes so much? I appreciate all your help  When I move any fader on XT1  it moves the same fader on other 2 units?

    Thank you

    Stan

  6. I’m using MCU Pro with Cakewalk by bandlab and was curious  if there is anyone out there using it and could you tell me how to get instructions? I have it working to a point. I don’t know how to insert plugins? When I configure it to work with two extra XT units it doesn’t remember  when I coles the session and reopen it.

    thank you

    Stan
