    Yep i always saw them around but i m not a loop guy , that said with what we can do now with synths , granular and editor , everybody with a little skill and knowledge can make any material shine as soon as the source is decent !!

    They cover a lot of genres, and a lot of the loops are sourced from acoustic instruments.

    Is this something like the ones from noiiz or loopmasters? or better?

    It's similar to Loopmasters' Loopcloud plugin, but not a subscription. It integrates with the libraries you buy from BFA.

  3. The interface looks nice. Out of the 4 demos that they have, I could only watch the first 2. The presets sound too similar. Nothing really jumps out and I own a lot of this type of instruments. It's a shame. I'm pretty sure a lot of work went into making it.

    On the other hand, for another $60 you can get the MAX bundle which includes this and 9 other instruments:

    An online service translates cahier des charges to specifications.

    Agree with the comment above. I'm not an Apple fan and I don't have an iPhone, but iPhones are made in China and (for reasons I don't fully understand) generally considered extremely desirable.

    Even RME makes their cheaper interfaces in China (Babyface). It's all about components and quality control. It's a huge difference when you use capacitors that cost a few cents or $20.

  5. Designed in England. Made in China. 😁

    I've used a lot of audio interfaces and it always comes down to 2 things: jitter and crappy headphone amps. Even the Precision Sound Orpheus had a crappy headphone amp. Superb DACs on the mains. I finally settled on the Solaris Quantum paired with the Audeze LCD-4z. Day and night is an understatement. Different worlds.

    I can clarify this even further.  They did change the whole request for "special use" a while ago too.  you don't need to do that for Big Fish Branded products anymore, as you can see from the license agreement on this product: https://www.bigfishaudio.com/detail.html?532268.   The specific license agreement you posted John is only on a small collection of old Funk Soul Productions products.  Seriously look around at the big fish branded products a bit and you'll see none of them say that if they aren't funk soul productions.   Their new standard license agreement is posted that allows for music library use without needing to request any special use extras.

    That's good. I guess Funk\Soul Productions need to pull the carrot out from their @ss. 😁

    John you can use their loops in a music library.  This is the only mention of a music library in their license agreement:

       If you use this product in the creation of a music library, or music intended to be included in a music library catalog, you cannot use the demonstration mix track files or recreate the demonstration mix track, you can only use the other files to create a derivative musical work.

    From the other brands that they sell, yes. But not from their own brand. Here's an example:

    https://www.bigfishaudio.com/detail.html?1&24&1:1608:-513277:::::::::A1608&B-513277::1350

    "PLEASE NOTE: The samples may not be included, whether unmodified or as part of a derivative work, in any music library or sample library product."

  8. Not saying that it's not a great synth... Avenger and Nexus are over-hyped and their expansions WAY overpriced. There are a ton of better presets (and more up-to-date) for Serum that you can get for $1 when bundled during the big sales. For this amount of $$$ I'd rather buy a Virus TI.
