  1. Well, let's say your track gets air time and it becomes famous. They're going to be like "Oh, that sounds like they used Virgin Choir. Let's sue him". Then you'll have to prove you didn't use their POS library. Not like it didn't happen to Skrillex and Bieber. Just search for Casey Dienel aka White Hinterland.
  2. From their YouTube channel: "IMPORTANT NOTE: Before considering using Virgin Choir, please note that the plugin cannot be commercially used."
  3. I'd say more like eunuchs. Virgin guys don't sound like that. 🤣
  4. For years, these drum machine samples were free at this site: https://samples.kb6.de/downloads.php I've seen a lot of these "developers" repackaging them to "commercial" libraries. Even sold on eBay. Bunch of rip-offs. I donated most of the E-MU stuff.
  5. RuPaul? 😂... oh wait... Devo!
  6. The way we work and live has changed a lot in the past few weeks, but we're all in this together. That’s why we’re making all of our video courses and more FREE for the month of April. And we mean free. No credit card required. No watch limits. Although things are weird right now, you can make the best of it by investing in yourself and your skills. https://www.pluralsight.com/offer/2020/free-april-month
  7. The crappy GUI interface still hasn't changed... 😂
  8. Maybe the engineers at Genelec are on to something as, from what I've seen, most of their models are rear ported. Never used Genelec, but they were a prime option years ago when I was shopping for monitors. Someday I'll give them a try.
  9. Anybody used KRK's? I stay away from anything that uses bass reflex ports. That's a cheater's way to give you more bass. It's fine for DJ-ing and normal applications, but I wouldn't use them for mixing.
  10. I think VSTBuzz had their Orchestral bundle for like 90% off. For some reason, their libraries never appealed to me. Listening to the demos, the choir library seems to be decent. I can see it being used to spice up some cinematic tracks.
  11. You must be very unhappy to apply your politically correct standards and rules to others' speech. Get a life!!

  13. True, but I'm only concerned with their higher end line. If I remember well, I think they had an issue with the HR824 mk1's. They corrected that with the mk2's, and while still very good (nominated for a TEC Award in 2008), they couldn't beat the originals. The HR824's won the TEC Award in '98, not to mention they're also THX certified.
  14. I got the original HR824's. Probably still good, but they don't make them like they used to.
  15. I'm pretty sure some sleazy lawyer concocted that. I don't need a license for a can of beans now, do I? 🤣 Like they concocted the Public Performance License... 😂
  16. That's the reason people pirate the crap out of them. They want us to treat their digital goods as physical items, but when we try to do the same thing... oops, you can't do that.
  17. I'm not sure what the issue is now. You already have the DAC which has plenty of power to drive your headphones. At this point, any audio interface will do as long as you connect the line outputs to the DAC. 😉
  18. Dude, these days the audio clarity and punch is no longer an issue even for the low end audio interfaces. No matter how great the sound it renders, if the headphone amp doesn't have the power to drive the headphone drivers (at 250 ohms they need a lot of power for the drivers to vibrate)... it's always going to sound crappy no matter what. Instead of hanging on to a pair of cheap so-so headphones and spending a ton of money on interfaces and gear to drive them, it would've been easier and simpler just to replace your headphones.
  19. 😄… it won't disappoint. The headphone amplifier had enough power to drive my LCD-2's (70 ohms), but can't say for your DT-990's. 250 ohms? That's just crazy. Maybe the issue are the headphones... 🤣
  20. I wouldn't go with the headphone output. Use the line outputs form the Babyface. They sound great.
  21. Improved clock. FS stands for Femptosecond. Less jitter during conversion.
  22. Use the Babyface as your audio interface and connect the main outputs to the inputs of the Schiit. I believe the Schiit only has RCA inputs so you'll need to find the proper cables.
