lol i'm afraid to test it lol and be like why the fff.... did i bougth all those lol but the workflow is such a pain , i requested an update i urged them because i said this proudct deserves it but still nothing  ... the day they wiull offer the type of workflow neural or IK proposes ...it will be  a killa !!!

Don't test it or you'll end up buying it. The way some cabs react to low notes is just incomparable to any other one I've tested. Workflow? Supereasy, I just have 6 presets for each cab with the settings I like the most (1 preset per cab). I turn on the cabinet if needed, easy.

Ok, seriously now, I just tested this again. Not losing subs (although all I am doing is testing it with my Squier Vintage Modified 5 strings bass).
Tested with and without a cab, and with cab sounds super super full (bass wise). I don't use the DRIVE section at all.
My bass+clean DArkglass signal is hot enough to cut through the mix, plus the Drive section just messes up with my awesome tone.
Pro tip: I found thanks to downloading and installing the Waves PRS (which is a pos): first time using it a window pops up telling me I should use a pedal in bypass to buffer the signal, I was "wtf", omg, really? and not directly into the interface. I researched more and omg it's true!!! No wonder my bass (guitars not that noticeable except on the high strings) sounded muddy (guitars sound muddy AND thin) now I found the holy grail of tone... my GUITARS/bass but all this time I just needed to put in the signal chain a BOSS pedal (I used a Metal zone in bypass ofc, I had an Overdrive Distortion too but they sound different, even in bypass, yes, not all of them sound the same).
WHY DOESN'T AMPLITUBE, SCHUFFMAN, NEMBRINI, ETC, TELL US ABOUT THIS GUITAR PLAYERs... sigh... it's like night and day.
This info should be on every wall on this planet, literally... sigh...

HiZ inputs are a total fail....

Is that plugin so good ? Didn't give it much attention earlier to be honest....

They have a demo, test it extensively like I did, compare, match levels, etc. Maybe you won't like it but then you'll know. I found my experiment very useful even if I wouldn't like it. But to me it does sound silky and not cheaply bright or harsh.

Again you don't have to like it.😎

Sale is still on for those who might be interested.  Sale price appears once in the cart.

I just noticed that the extra mic positions for the Walker Concert D are 10.50$ each instead of 15$ once they're put in the cart.

So I picked up the binaural position for playing with headphones.

The Embertone website is pretty awkward and I could only get it to work properly with Chrome, which I never use.

Neither Firefox nor IE11 could get through to buying anything.

I added to the cart the LITE version, it shows in the cart 27 bucks, not 10 ;(

Binaural yes, it shows 10.50 bucks in the cart.

Or should I just buy the close and wide positions?

Do I need the LITE or STandard verison to use the extra positions?

This site is kind of a mess...

    Not like this?
If not, you might want to let their support know and give them your specs (DAW, OS, PC, plug in format, blood type, favorite flavor of gatorade, etc).

Yeah, it doesn't do that here :P
It's ok, it's a nice EQ but not 135 euros nice. It reacts to certain freqs very nice though, I can tell, but not my cup of tea. Cheers.

Click "auto gain".  You'll see the 'input' knob change.  Without this, I can understand your comment.

When you decrease it on Pre1 (dirtier than pre2- more of a smiley face sound that's kinda hyped), you'll noticed it get tamed.  When you decrease Pre2 (you'll hear a smooth bump around 10k), you'll notice much less of a difference.  It does nothing when no pre is selected.  Turning them up will be obvious (again, unless you have no pre selected).

Ok all you say it's pretty sweet (thanks for taking ur time) but Autogain still shows the Input knob labeled as Input. I clicked on the presets to no avail (some of them have autogain on). Perhaps this is because I am using the Trial one? I don't know :P

    Bawhahaha.   Oh man, that's BRUTAL.

If you don't like it, that's fine...  but to say it's transparent completely ignores the "pre" section and feature set.  I mean there is literally a harmonics knob.

    image.png.e025d9b13e16525cfe4792ae2a8462ce.png

Where is that hidden? In a black plate? Where do I click to show that?  All I have is input, low, low mid, mid section, high mid, high, output, that knob is knowhere to be found, lol.

  11. On drums, I tested from Acustica Audio: Ruby (Best), Azure, Pink, Navy, Diamond Color EQ 3 (prob. 2nd best), Pensado, then I got tired of downloading trials :P
from Tracks 5 (IK Multimedia): Classic EQ, British and White channel, EQ-PA, EQ-PB, Linear Phase, Master EQ, One, they all sound nice more One and the Classic,
    Overloud's Gem EQ84 and 550...

All volume match leveled and same settings (160 boost notch/ 300 cut notch/ 7k lots of it / 8.2 boost notch)

Then I put this baby on (before I make the settings the same, plus air band, raised the volume a bit to match levels), bang! Silk and glue and punch and whatever good you can think of :P

I tested on vocals too just some AA ones plus Tracks 5 ones and Overlouds and Softube's... Black Q to the rescue

  12. Any coupons King? I am gonna buy this one, it's amazing (better than any EQ I have tried on vocals: Any Tracks5, Any AA, even Pensado's (way better I think this one), better than Gem EQ's (overloud)). Spent hours testing, and found (again) this beauty. Sonically is another planet.

Yep, and I have probably bad luck as what I trial'ed I liked :)

So bought Purple, Honey, Lemon although planed to trial them to pick one I like the best for my arsenal :)

You bought those 3 already? Wow, still deciding whether I get the Pensado EQ, it's so 3d too, I tried it vs a passive EQ, which sounds nice, but it's like the Pensado's doesn't fill between frequences so it's more "transparent" and a touch of silkyness (just a tad bit) (testing on vocals mainly). Grrr, so hard to choose.

Wow, thanks, I have written to support with - to be honest - just a little hope and they answered me to redo whole transaction with code applied and then they would refound my mistaken buy :)

    They answered already?!?!!? Awesome!

Now I hate you ;) As you make me so curious of Ruby...  :)

But I am an idiot. I was talking to my collegue by phone when buying few AA plugs yesterday at the same time and forgot to add my personal coupon :( Just 20% lost :( Everything about my multitasking... grrr... :( It could be  big part of money to spent for Ruby if I like it...

Oh no! Now I am sad too 😭 Write them mate, so they fix this. In the Gearslutz forum they are very out spoken and kind, so I don't think you will have an issue (although late response since it's weekend? Idk.

I hope you demo (download trials) the plugins you want before buying, I know I am doing that and even though Pensado's eq is nice, very nice maybe in some sources, it didn't make me jump in joy.

Ruby I feel it's an instrument EQ, not a Vocals EQ. I tried it specially on drums and it makes them sound so silky (specially hi hats, it makes them stand out but in a certain silky frequency instead of high or very high where it's kinda prominent way).

I took out all my EQ's, even AA's, trying to achieve that silky sound... NO AVAIL! I did this for more than an hour, trying to save more than 100 euros... lol.

But I am so spent mate, I even bought earlier Nebula for like 100 bucks (last sale), and that was stretching my wall.e.t aka credit card, lol.

    Glad you like it!

If I could I'd give you my coupon but they're tied to each users account.

I have Pink, Navy too, and omg, this Ruby is beyond awesome. I wish I knew about this one before (I know, I can download all the trials and demo them).

I got a code for 20 or 18 percent. still kinda high :P Cheers.

I still like Ruby2 over both of them so no problem here!

MAte, I hate you! I downloaded Ruby and Pensado's... Ruby wins! So much 3d with Ruby, and it's so simple, goddammit! But it's expensive too, even with a code...
