Thanks. That's exactly what happened to me. I found a textfile in the download with that link. I could confirm that i already had the mentioned update but then there was this other steps necessary. I didn't like the idea of editing the registry when i'm not sure about the needed steps. The MS page is confusing. Hard to tell if i had to do both the hot fix and the quick fix. So...i moved on and installed it on win8.1 instead. No problem on that windows. I would change in the registry if i had an clear answer on exactly what to change/add. I kind of hoped you had gotten that. About Gabe. In the MS text you can read that usually those fixes isn't necessary because the coder takes care of that with a little bit of code in the installer. I choose to believe we got it so cheap because he wanted us to do his job. Or he's a fanatic win10 user?

Bandlab assistant needs to be manually downloaded every time for me when it needs update. Cakewalk usually doesn't.

Someone at KVR thought "Piano One" was the best free one. I discovered this yesterday so i can only confirm the download works ok. I associate "Background Intelligent Transfer Service" with Winupdate and the Winbrowser. Do you have your Winbrowser open at the same time as CbB?

I would try to disable the Motu and use the onboard sound to make a recording. If that works without the stop at 4:17 you can focus on your Motu and search for hidden settings. Oh...and do not reuse projects by deleting old tracks and adding new tracks. I have experience of that. It works a couple of times then there's going to be ghost actions. Always close and open a new project.

Surely you download it and save it. Then you don't need to search for it if your Scarlett 6i6 begins to act out.

I've got a Tefal Actifry. It blows hot air over the food at a temp of 180 C. You can't change that as with a plate or owen but you adjust the time you fry the food. The advantage as i see it is the little shovel that moves the food while it's being fried. It eliminates the need to stand there. You just set the timer and go and watch tv or something. It also makes the food get a more even fried surface. You still have to use a little bit of oil. It have to be somewhat smaller bits of food than in a fryingpan to fit the airfryer.

This was a test and doublecheck. It is shut down after 30 days. Seeing all this posts that tell you to use Melodyne when in reality you do not have it. Because it has shut down. Made me wonder if there was a secret password or something... Since i haven't received any pm with the password i asume it is people that can't understand how a person can be so poor that it can't afford certain software.

Those of you that activated the (inbuilt) default addon Melodyne trial in may or june 2018, is it still working? The normal procedure for a trial software is to shut it down after a certain period. Will Melodyne trial ever shut down?

You probably don't need to freeze a track. I just select the tracks and export to wav. They sounds fine to me.

That's ok. If you could make Reaper to work with CbB as a Rewire client and explain how you did it. That would be of interest to me. Reaper can run in Rewire mode, certainly on a Mac. I have run it successfully as a slave to Logic. Don't see why it can't run as a RW slave on a PC as well. Nr2. I find If I open a Host DAW and the 2nd DAW shows up in the Rewire list, it can now communicate as the Slave. In my rewire list i find Waves and Reaper.

I tried to use rewire once. Using CbB as master and Reaper as client. Did not work. Though i googled a lot, i never got to understand how to use rewire.

When i was in the 20's my pals and i tried to start a band. It didn't work out. The drummer was ok but secretly dreamed of being a singer. The lead guitar couldn't refrain from doing crazy solos more than 10 minutes. Me, to passive to make them follow my lead so we could accomplish something. Seems i was the only one that had own songs but i couldn't explain it to them. They was happy doing covers and jamming.
