I'll second the other opinions. Sounds good to me.
Don't think running the same Ozone preset a second time would change much anyway.
Quite an honor to have your recorded guitar in the wedding.- 1

Looks like some guys having fun playing music but I'm sure there was a lot of work putting together the video. Sounds good especially the vocal.

Can't say I'm a fan of metal or Mortal Kombat but I can see you have a promising music video here. The guitars sound good and the playing is impressive.

Funk Cello
in Songs
Mark
I'm used to thinking Yo Yo Ma when I hear cello but you gave the instrument a new direction. Excellent performance and mix. I didn't think the song sounded too bassy at all.

Very relaxing and mood lifting. I guess the only thing I would suggest is to bring out the strings more. They just sound a little thin to me. I really enjoyed listening to the song.

Are We Through? Revised version
Ancient history. The lyrics are close to what was said at that time but I may have embellished a bit.
There might be some Melodyne artifacts in the vocal, but this is the best I could do.
Thanks for listening.

Really like all the playful accompanying sounds in the background.Kind of unusual melodic phrases that complement each other very well and stick in your head for a long time. Outstanding lyrics too and as usual your vocal performance is top notch. Well done!

Yeah, very nice and interesting mixture of classical and pop (EDM?) styles. I liked the change up at ~2:30 and how that developed. Well done. -

Thanks much for the comments, esp for finding that the soundtrack fit the video!I kinda thought you like monkeys, Daryl.

Freddy
I think you've captured that traditional delta blues sound. Really liked that little guitar riff in the background and the lyrics (nicely sung!) exemplifies what someone like Mississippi John Hurt would have done. Best of all IMO is the harmonica, both the tune and the playing. Well done! -
Daryl
The unmistakable sound of Daryl and the Staypress crew. A likable bouncy tune with a bit of humor, very nice. The mix seemed a little too much on the high end to me, but that could be the headphones I'm currently using. -
Steve
Love the weeping synth in the background. On first listen it seemed to be the usual boy loses girl story, but then there's "obsession" and "her misery" and "I wanted more" so maybe the song is more about the woman leaving a bad relationship. Anyway, I like the song. You have a way of setting a mood with your music.- 1

Very nice song, well sung and played. Very good mix too, the guitar and vocal are very clear. The fade out at the end is a little too long and I found it distracting. I think a more traditional ending would work better. Just my opinion. -
Thanks Tom
Yeah we did see ebola warnings in a couple of places near the border with DRC and we were in the same general area as the American woman and her driver who were kidnapped, but I still think it's a very safe country. Well, it's safe except for the way people drive over there. -
You tell a really good story with characters we've probably all known at some time or other.
It's hard to move the narrative along with short verses and a strict meter, but you did a nice job.
Really liked the ending that sums up what Jimmy is all about. -
I got an email from NI thanking me for my recent purchase or registration of a new product.
panic/ What?? I haven't made any recent purchases! /panic
So I thought my account got hacked or something but no, it's this Blocks Base thing that I guess has been placed in my account as a gift?

Thanks. Have to say the trip was a bit of a splurge but worth it for the experience of seeing
a whole other world beyond your familiar and comfortable day to day life. -

A friend of mine talked me into signing up for a group tour of Uganda. It was for bird watching mostly but also for
viewing animals in the wild that you usually only see in zoos. So here's a slide show of the photos and videos that I took over there last month. The soundtrack probably isn't very African sounding, but I like it.

I like the straight up pop sound that you do, reminiscent of 50s and 60s songs (you know, when music was good)
Must have been difficult to write the lyrics and yet worth it to get the words out. I'd like to suggest that you change the "that broke" to either "who broke" or "you broke" Just sounds better IMO. -
Bob,
You seem like a nice guy and yet you play that hard rock and roll music. 😁
Great guitar playing as usual and you write great lyrics, especially for the genre. Wishing you a lot of success.Just realized you sound a bit like Billy Idol in a couple of spots.

Lonely Walk

Ditto on the above comments on the volume. Had to crank it up at the beginning then down again at the end.
But it's a really nice somber piano piece which evokes a lot of images. I thought the strings came in at an appropriate time. The drums made me think of marching soldiers and impending doom - well done there. There was a brief violin flurry thing at 5:30 that took me out of the mood for a second. And I expected some kind of resolution at the end, but things sort of just stopped. Maybe still a work in progress?
Anyway, I really enjoyed listening to the song.- 1

Not sure if I'd categorize this as EDM. Seems more a mixture of styles but that's ok. That melodic part that comes in at about 0:20 and other places seemed kind of familiar to me.
Very good tune. I played it a few times and really got in to it.
