If only - ridiculous not being able to use credits for a "studio" plug. I wouldn't hesitate. As is, I've got more (as in numerous ) superb mastering tools at hand that I haven't used. Even with the 30% off with Jampoints, I'll pass. EDIT: don't get Larry started!

It would be nice if PA would apply the same credit to their upgrade suggestions for those plugs you already have - in this case the Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor Class A. There's only $30 difference between the retail price on these two.

Hey Peter - firstly, I'm not an accomplished guitarist nor aficionado but I love the guitar. It was a birthday gift from my newly wed wife back '82 so it has great sentimental value and is the main reason I still have it. "Guitarists" who have played it all say it is a good sounding guitar and have enjoyed playing it. There are a few YT videos of owners demonstrating it so you can get an idea there. RE the Brazilian eatery, yes, you'll spend probably twice what this (Indio) guitar costs. We've eaten there (DFW, TX Metro area) when we were down talking to a church about a music position. After the service that went late we had no idea where to go but thought "hey, this a special day - let's stop in here!" HA!! I think it was like $120 bucks before we got out of there and we really didn't have it at the time. Lesson learned. But, it was very good and like gear, WAY too many choices, <belch!>

I bit as I only have an acoustic (Alvarez 5029) and it seems kind of strange to play it live into the DAW->AmpSim to get a quasi electric sound haha - I've spent more taken the Mrs. to dinner!!

I missed the discounted crossgrade to Cubase from Cakewalk back when opting to get Samplitude ProX of which there is a lot I like. But it hasn't caused me to dedicate myself to one DAW like I was hoping. I own WaveLab 10, SpectraLayers 6, & Absolute 3 so I emailed SB about expanding the crossgrade offer of $400 which might be tempting but I'm not sure it would push me over the edge even then. FYI, Nuendo/Cubase Comparison EDIT: my current options as a new user would be Cubase Competitive Crossgrade $367.98 Nuendo New (currently) $588 Nuendo Competitive Crossgrade $700 (without eLicenser) 😊
