I had the same problem and found the fix. I am posting it here to help others in the same boat. While the cakewalk software is closed, right click on the program's icon on the desktop, select properties, compatibility, change high DPI settings, down select high DPI scaling override, and set it to "system enhanced" not "Application". restart cakewalk and it should be fine.
