Tried the same myself, asked them to swap, but they were reluctant to do so and in the end only swapped one of my many doubles.

I had a similar experience. Apparently there was a mistake in the previous StackSocial deal where it delivered more than it was supposed to and they were aware of it. They were nice enough to allow me to swap duplicate packs minus the duplicates sent in error.

  2. Thinking Ozone 9 would be coming out soon was why I didn't go for the MPS 2.1 upgrade from any advanced product - hopefully my gamble will pay off around BF and will see a similar deal that includes OA9. 🤞

  3. I've always had good luck with Yamaha's and think they project very well. Outside of the size and feel, pay attention to the what wood the back and sides are made of to help making comparisons easier. I prefer rosewood for the deep lows and sparkly highs but you might prefer mahogany (warmer tone) or maple (distinct and bright with less overtones). If you think you might want to play through a PA check to see if it has a pickup built into the bridge etc. And make sure it comes with a case! Like Larry says Guitar Centers usually have a nice room to test them out in. Have fun finding the right one for you!  🙂

Just an FYI for people using the free version... There are a couple additional modules that are free and you can add them by installing them separately. Away from my computer at the moment so can't recall their names.

From the website go to Products-->Modules and sort by price (low to high) to bring the free ones to the top. 👍

    I suppose you're all on windows 10 ?

I am on Windows 7, so far no problems.

  5. Sounds pretty good to me, especially for free.  😀 Time will tell if I upgrade or not.

My favorite amp sim is the one that sounds best for the particular track and song I am working on 😉

Everyone can also get Visual Mixer and Relay free for trying the Neutron 3 demo. Spoiler alert: You don't actually even have to download the Neutron 3 demo

    https://www.izotope.com/en/learn/products/neutron/how-to-get-visual-mixer-and-izotope-relay-for-free.html

The free serials are on the Nuetron 3 download page

    https://www.izotope.com/en/support/product-downloads/neutron-3-advanced/neutron-adv-download

True - Relay can be installed using the Product Portal but the only way to install Visual Mixer is by installing Neutron 3.

You get way more tone shaping options. Presets too I believe

Right - session has one bank with about 16 presets, while the full version has 7 banks with a lot more presets. The full version also allows editing Hammer, Fork, Pickup, Damper, and Tremolo, while also providing the ability to fully configure the effects vs the session versions ""OneKnob" or "Style Dial" type options.

I forget how much I paid, but got it back in the late 80's and from Musician's Friend when it was a mail order catalog...

Cool Mibby I didn't realize MF has been around that long.

As for the original topic  - I like Sweetwater for their expertise but rarely find the best deal there although they did give me a great price on a Jackson Soloist SL1 that I couldn't pass up a couple of years ago.

    I do! ;)

Now I know who to contact if I ever want to mix them down to 2 track 😀

I remember paying $500 for it at Wurlitzer in Boston but when I got an 8 track I traded it for a Kramer Focus when I was gigging out a lot and needed some extra guitars for alt tunings.

Oh man....tracking 3 tracks on the 4 track, and then bounce 3 tracks down to one,
and then  record 2 more, and bounce those to one, leaving you two tracks left to record on!
    Good Times!

Haha right! I don't have the Tascam Porta One anymore but still have all the cassette tapes 😛

I tried on more time, there is only hollow arrow pointing down and zoom, this function doesn't appear

I don't see the M cursor either but I am still using older sonar platinum perhaps that is why, but anyway...

As mark skinner stated, did you left click the mouse when you see the hollow arrow? (I did not see you confirm you did this)

It should change to a solid white arrow. If it does, keep the left click down and press delete key on keyboard. .

or pass and go with Melda 50% off,  no machine limit, lifetime updates, better installation process

This is tempting for me but with Waves I have to buy a duplicate license, and way too many plugins.

I'm with you. The 1 machine limit is the reason why my waves plugins go unused and I have no interest in dealing with WUP.
